After X number of years, the Padua family was complete again one Sunday afternoon because my brother-in-law, Juan Carlo or JC, went home for a week long vacation.
Our chosen venue for the afternoon is Bonifacio Global City. First, we went to Trion Towers where JC got a condo unit. And of course, we went there as one battalion! Just imagine all of us walking/touring around the amenities of the Trion Towers. Hehe.
After the Trion Towers, we were suppose to go around SM Aura but it didn't materialize. Since it is already late in the afternoon, my FIL decided to have dinner instead.
While hubby and my in-laws are looking for a place to eat, I let the Kulilits play first at Bonifacio High Street. I tell you, they really love playing in the grass. They run and roll here and there!!!
Here are the boys playing with their Tito Ninong JC...
Ian enjoying the grass...
The Kulilits horsing around...
We had dinner at Texas Roadhouse Grill...
And here are what we ordered (I'm sorry, I didn't get all the names of the food.):
Texas Quesadillas...
Crispy Chicken Tenders...
Parmesan-Crusted Chicken (my order)...
Roadhouse Red Chili Burger for hubby...
which he really enjoyed...
The Great Ribeye...
Wrangler's Pork Steak...
Country-Style Burger Steak...
Kid Combo: Spaghetti & Chicken Tenders (Sorry for the picture. Hehe =) BTW, kids eat for free here)...
And of course, our souvenir picture...
After dinner, the Kulilits played again. The boys are non-stop! I don't know where they are getting their energy. Take note: they woke up early that day and didn't take their afternoon nap but still they are full of energy until 9:00pm.
Then we went to Serendra for some Cold Stone ice cream.
Lots of ice cream...
Waffle cones and toppings...
Gotta Have It Cheescake Fantasy for us...
I know... I said, I won't eat anything sweet again. But promise, I had few only. =)
Chocolate Devotion (I think) for Kuya Bimbo and Ai...
My MIL and FIL had Banana Caramel Crunch while my SIL had Coffee Lovers Only (I don't have pictures, sorry). For JC and Doms, I don't know what they ordered. Hehe.
After our dessert, we all went home happy and with a full tummy. =)

Cold Stone Creamery Opening Soon!!!
On my way to Market! Market!, I saw this...
Cold Stone Creamery will be opening soon at Serendra! I hope that this will be the real store like in the US unlike the Cold Stone Creamery Stall that opened before at Powerplant Mall in Rockwell.

Flavors of The Month: Cheese, Avocado and Nanca
For the month of January, I didn't buy any ice cream. Bakit kamo? Una, nauta kami sa flavors na nabili ko nung December which I blogged here.
For the month of February, I actually bought 3 flavors. Pero in the end, for our own consumption na since my in-laws brought some ice cream for the kulilit's birthday.
I bought Arce Dairy Cheese, Avocado and Nanca flavors. Swak kasi ang lasa for us. Tama lang ang tamis, hindi nakakasawa.
I bought Cheese and Avocado since tried and tested na namin.
For the Nanca naman, I bought it para matry namin. So far, so good naman. Talagang may langka siya sa ice cream. Yum! Yum! Yum!
Hahaha!
O siya! Sleep na muna ako, mag 5:00am na. Night! Night! Este good morning na pala! =)

Flavors of the Month: Mantecado & Bubble Gum Mallows
I usually buy two flavors of ice cream every month para may instant panghimagas kami sa house. =(
Our ice cream flavors for the month of December are...
Arce Dairy's Mantecado (Manila Vanilla): Ok lang. Pwede na. But I'm not really satisfied. Mas masarap pa kasi yung ordinary vanilla ice cream eh. Hehehe.
Big Scoop's Bubble Gum Mallows: Eto talaga, big FAIL!!!
Hehehe.
Kayo guys, what are your favorite ice cream flavors?

Sundate with My In-Laws
EXHAUSTING!!! That's the word that could describe my day last Sunday (I'll tell you why later). Though tiring, I find it fun and enjoyable since we got to spend time with the whole family.
We arrived at Alabang Town Center at around 2:00pm and we met Lola Es and Lolo Em at Luk Yuen to eat lunch. Since we are already starving, we did not manage to take pictures of our food anymore. Anyway, we ordered Deep Fried Taro Puff, Fried Rice with Chicken and Salted Fish, Fish Fillet in Taosi Sauce and Braised Beancurd with Mushroom. Healthy right?
After lunch, we went to Rustan's Department Store and shopped a little. My FIL kasi has a new Citibank Rustan's Card. They have a promo kasi right now for new cardholders eh. New cardholders are entitled to have a Lacoste Bag as long as they use their card at Rustan's within the promo period.
We went to Lacoste to claim the free bag after meeting the minimum spending requirement at Rustan's. Unfortunately, we weren't able to claim it. May procedure pala. We called Citibank hotline and my FIL was advised to wait for a sms from Citibank informing him that he could already claim the bag.
Then again we strolled a bit and had some White Hat yogurt ice cream. I had it plain lang. Masiyado kasing matamis kung may toppings pa eh.
While eating the ice cream, yung mga kulilits medyo naghyper sa loob ng White Hat. Ginawang playground yung ice cream parlor. Takbo dun, takbo dito. Lambitin dun, lambitin dito. Akyat dun, Akyat dito.
At the new wing of ATC (where Metro Gaisano is located), we rested for a while. Siyempre nagphoto-op ang lolo't lola with their apos.
Wait! Tignan niyo, you can see Chris at the background. Ano ang masasabi niyo? Sa magkabilang direction pa sila naglalakad right? Hehehe.
After ng ilang minutong habulan, we went inside Metro Gaisano at napadpad kami sa toy section. Again, nagmistulang playground ang toy section.
Chris here is playing the mini drum set. Hehehe.
There are rechargeable vehicles around also.
Ian here is trying out the Mini Cooper. Ang ganda sobra ng Mini Cooper! Sana pwede itrade-in yung Ferrari car nila with this.
After playing around the toy section, nahirapan kaming umalis dahil ayaw umalis ng mga kulilits. As in nagwawala ng sobra.
Marunong na silang magmanipulate talaga by doing tantrums.
Moving forward...
Dinner time na and naghanap kami ng makakainan. We were suppose to eat at Friday's. Pero when we got there, may particular date pala which is bandang November pa. Then we checked Recipes. On the way to Abe, my FIL spotted Xoi Vietnamese Kitchen and checked out the menu.
That ended our day. We all went home full and happy.

Korean Ice Cream Hoarding Ba Kamo?
I went last week to my favorite Korean Grocery at BF Homes and guess what I did? I just hoarded my favorite Korean Ice Creams - Melona and Red Bean Ice Cream.
Natawa nga sa akin yung saleslady eh. She even asked me kung para saan ba raw yung mga binili ko.
It's time for me to enjoy my ice cream...

Food Discovery: Korean Red Bean Ice Cream
One recent Korean Ice Cream discovery is their Red Bean Ice Cream. Promise, ang sarap niya! Just imagine our Ice Buko na maraming monggo on top. Di ba yun ang sarap na? This one puro red bean siya na super creamy. Mura lang din ito. It's only P25.00 each.
I can't wait to go back to the Korean Grocery at BF Homes. Maghohoard ako!

S&R Loots
We went to S&R yesterday after going to Church to buy diapers for my kulilits. Diapers lang talaga ang dapat bibilihin BUT hindi talaga maiiwasan ang mga tukso lalo na kapag kasama ang mga boys (hubby and kulilits).
Here are some of things that we bought aside from the diapers:
Again, a big can of Royal Dansk Luxury Wafers. He recognized the can and hindi ako tinantanan hanggat hindi ko dinadampot ito. He immediately asked me to open it at nakakain kaagad ng 2 sticks. What is good about this big can is that it has all the flavors inside - chocolate, vanilla and cappucino.
Kiddie table and chairs. I really wanted to buy table and chairs for my boys para dito sila kakain and gagawa ng activities namin. So when I spotted these at S&R, dinampot ko kaagad. Ang ganda eh! Actually, may blue chairs din kaso the creative side of me made me choose the green chairs. Boring kasi kung all blue. I want some contrast kasi para mas masaya ang dating. Maganda naman ang color combination di ba?
And for my hubby, ang parati niyang kinukulit sa akin na Blue Bunny Ice Cream. Wala kasing bukang bibig every time magtetext sa akin is "I want Blue Bunny!" o di kaya "Pa-Blue Bunny ka naman diyan!". We chose White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie flavor para maiba naman. We usually buy Cookie Dough or Bunny Tracks kasi.
So that ended our day yesterday and we all went home happy =).

Food Trip: Cold Stone Creamery
When we were in L.A., our cousins made us try Cold Stone Creamery. What is special about this ice cream store is that you can create your own ice cream mix. I got a cheesecake ice cream with graham crackers and some mallows. What I can't forget about this ice cream experience is that I ordered and finished a "Gotta Have It" size of ice cream. Biggest size kasi yun. Just imagine how much calories I ate. LOL!
I would like to share to you some of the pictures that I took...Too bad I forgot to take photos of my ice cream =(
I'll miss this =(
