Ina's First to Six Month Birthday Celebrations

Halu!!! I'm back!!! Grabe ha, last time pala ako nakapagblog is January pa! Ganun pala talaga ako ka-busy... Sa ka-busy-han ko, di ko man lang napansin na malapit na pala mangalahati ang taon. Haaayyysttt... O kay bilis ng oras...

Speaking of mabilis ang oras, ang bebe girl ko mag-seseven months na sa 22! 5 months na lang at 1 y/o na siya. Omigosh!!! I need to start preparing na sa kanyang 1st birthday! Hala!

Since missing in action ako ng ilang buwan, I'll share to you the pictures of my unica hija during her monthly birthday celebration. Yes, may monthly pa rin. Kailangan pare pareho silang magkakapatid. Hehehe.

Well, kung si Christoff ay "postponio" dahil laging napopostpone or meron laging aberya sa mga events niya, si Ina naman may pagka "steal the spotlight". Why "steal the spotlight"? Kasi simulat sapul, may kahati na siya sa birthday niya at ako yun! Hehehe! We share the same birthday kasi eh. Sabi nga ng daddy ko, hindi niya raw alam kung matutuwa or maiinis sa akin ang anak ko in the future dahil ginawa kong pareho ang birthday namin. Imbis na sa kanya lang ang spotlight, may kahati siya. Binigay niyang example yung cousin ko na same birthday ng lola ko. Laging sine-celebrate yung birthday nila together. And for this year, nataon na debut niya tapos 85th birthday pa ng lola ko which parehong kailangang i-celebrate. Kaya nga niloloko ng mga relatives ko yung cousing ko na pag-iisahin ulit ang birthday celebration nila ng lola ko. Hehehe!

Anyway, ganun na nga, sa loob ng 6 na monthly birthday ng unica hija ko, 1 lang yung nag-celebrate kami na walang kahati. Hehehe!

For her first month, we celebrated it at Causeway Restaurant in Banawe. Sinabay namin dito yung advance birthday celebration ng Lola ko and Tita Ninang ko since wala yung parents ko sa mga birthday nila.

For her second month birthday, blowing of cake and picture picture lang ang naganap since we need to attend a reunion/Christmas celebration ng MMC IM batch ng hubby ko.

Ina's 3rd month naman, we celebrated it at home pero paspasan lang since we need to go somewhere dahil may event na kailangan i-attend si hubby and kasama kami dun.

We celebrated the 4th month birthday of Ina at Las Casas de Acuzar in Bataan. We were there also to celebrate our 10th year wedding anniversary.

Finally, wala nang kahati for the 5th month birthday celebration. We celebrated it at home. =)

And for Ina's 6th month, we celebrated it at The Wholesome Table at Capitol Commons together with the graduation celebration of the twins.

Ano masasabi niyo? Ang tipid di ba? Laging 2 in 1 ang celebration? Cake na lang ang kailangang bilhin! Hahaha!

So that sums up the first six months birthday celebrations of Christina Reine. I hope and pray na may time and energy pa ako to prepare for her next monthly birthday celebrations and of course, sa kanyang first birthday. =)

Our Happy Christmas 2015

Our Christmas is extra special last year. Why? Because my youngest brother surprised us. After 8 long years, he went home just to celebrate Christmas with us. Yes, Christmas lang. Di na siya umabot ng New Year dahil need na niya bumalik kaagad ng US dahil sa work niya. That is why instead of celebrating Christmas in our own house, we celebrated it to my parents' house para naman masulit ang uwi niya.

Pasensya na sa picture. Sa phone kasi ng dad ko galing eh, kaya no choice ako. In fact, nagalit (pero joke lang) yung bunsong kapatid ko dahil ang pangit daw niya sa picture na ito. Sorry naman kako, eto lang ang natanggap kong picture. Sabi ko nga eh, yung nagsend sa akin ng picture, halos nakapikit ang mata dito eh. Hahaha!

Wacky wacky this time...



O di ba? Sinabi na ngang wacky eh, pero dalawa lang kaming nagwacky sa picture na ito! Hahaha!

At dahil sobrang saya namin, nagwacky wacky shot na kami with all the addition to our original family. So from five, ten na kami lahat...



Siyempre, di pwede mawala ang family picture namin...



Sobrang sayang kasi tulogy si Christoff. =( Di bale, babawi na lang next time. =)

At 12:00 midnight, we all greeted each other Merry Merry Christmas then exchange gift na kami...



So sad kasi eto lang ang pictures ko that night, na lowbatt kasi ako. Yung ibang pictures nasa phone ng dad ko and di ko na nakuha. =(

The following day, I woke up the kids early so that they could check their gifts from Santa and para makapagready na rin for our yearly gift giving.

After the gift giving, we ate brunch na and namasko na kami sa mga relatives namin and sa in-laws ko.

Before I end this blog entry, I just want to share the picture of  Nanay Anding (my grandma) and my Ina girl...



Ang cute ano? Nakakatuwa dahil naabutan pa ng lola ko ang apo niya sa tuhod. Hopefully, yung parents and in-laws ko maabutan din nila ang mga apo nila sa tuhod. =)

My Parents' 36th Wedding Anniversary

Last October 14 was a very long day for us. As in buong araw, mula umaga hanggang gabi, wala kami sa bahay.

In the morning, I had my pre-natal checkup at Sta. Rosa Hospital and Medical Center. Then we had late lunch na. Tapos at 4:00pm, diretso na kami sa Ayala Alabang Country Club for the twins' football class.

After the football class, we met with Papa G near ATC (since hubby is still at his clinic) then we went to SM Southmall to buy flowers and stuffed toy for Mama G. 36th wedding anniversary kasi nila eh so kailangan magpa-sweet si Papa G. Hehe.

After that, we went to my parents' house to give the gifts to Mama G and at the same time to pick her up because we are going to have a dinner to celebrate their wedding anniversary.

O di ba? Tumi-teenager lang silang dalawa? Hahaha!

Since my brother and his fiance is at VCF Alabang for their engagement seminar and they'll finish at 9:30pm pa, my parents chose to have dinner at RED Kitchen + Bar at Filinvest. Ok ang place ha. May pagkaformal tapos may band pa. =)

Here are what we ordered:

For our appetizer, we ordered Jack Stones (Monterey Jack cheese poppers with marinara dip)...

and Crispy Smashed POS (Fried and pinched marble potatoes)...

For our main course, we ordered:

Chicks and 'Cakes (Two boneless chicken steaks & fluffy buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup and anchovy butter)...

This order is for the twins kaya pina-split ko into two. Just imagine 2x niyan ang whole order, ang laki di ba?

Truffle Shitake (Flavorful cream sauce of dark mushroom and truffle)...

My dad and I ordered this. Sana 1 order lang ang kinuha namin kasi ang dami and nakakabusog. I didn't like it that much. Medyo natatabangan kasi ako. Parang may kulang sa lasa eh. Sabi ko nga kay hubby, yung best na truffle pasta na natikman ko is yung sa Maple.

English Fish and Chips (Beer-battered fish and fries with wasabi mayo and lemon)...

Hubby ordered this. Ang laki and dami! Pero, in fairness ha, naubos pa rin ni hubby! Hahaha!

Hanger Bistro Steak (Grilled hanging tender Certified Angus Beef with chimichurri, anchovy butter, mustard and side vegetables)...

My mom ordered this for my brother's fiance.

Surf N' Turf (Combination of U.S. beef tenderloin and tiger prawns with anchovy butter and cherry glaze served with potato and vegetable sandwich)...

My mom ordered 2 of these for her and my brother.

For our desserts, we ordered Truffle Creme Brulee (Rich burnt truffled custard) and Apple Crostata A La Mode (Baked apple croissant tart with vanilla ice cream). Sorry, I forgot na to take pictures of our desserts. Haha!

And of course, our obligatory family picture...

Great food, great ambiance, great music and great company mean that we had a great night at RED Kitchen + Bar! One thing that matters most is that my parents had fun and enjoyed their anniversary celebration with us! =)

Since I'm a very detailed person, pati ang kiddie meal kinareer ko. Para maiba naman, I ordered Pocoyo themed bento boxes.

Ang cute ano? Ang dami ding natuwa dito. Hindi lang kids pati oldies. Hehe.

Christoff's 1st Birthday Party: Souvenirs - Wooden Kiddie Stools and A Lot More

Aside from the loot bags, we chose to have kiddie stools as Christoff's birthday party souvenirs. At siyempre, Pocoyo themed pa rin ang stools. =) There are five designs which are all characters of the Pocoyo show.

Our supplier is Wooden Kiddie Stools and A Lot More. This supplier is very easy to deal with. Fast lang ang transaction namin. As in very smooth. Then when it comes to the finished product, on time sila. When you say na need mo ng ganitong date, talagang ready na siya that day. Yun nga lang, for pick up ang mga order sa kanila plus the fact na may kalayuan sa house namin. They are located kasi sa Bagong Pag-asa, Quezon City. Thanks to Waze at nahanap namin sila! Hehe!

Christoff's 1st Birthday Party: Party Stylist and Candy Buffet - Kids Party Hub

Hello there again! I'm not yet done with my son's 1st birthday series. Sorry naman! Haha!

Anyway, for Christoff's birthday party, I got an event's stylist. Gaya nga ng sinabi ko before, ayaw ko na kasi ma-stress. The event's stylist really did a big help sa party. Nagkakulay ang place and nagpadagdag sa saya ng party.

My supplier is Kids Party Hub. Very professional ang may-ari which is Christine Cordero. Super bait niya and wala na talaga akong inintindi. =)

I got the events styling with dessert and candy buffet package. It includes the welcome banner, backdrop, centerpiece and dessert & candy buffet.

Medyo nahirapan sila dito patayuin since mahangin yung place kaya may mga stones sa ilalim. Hehe.

I really loved the centerpiece because it's very personalized. There are different pictures kasi of Christoff in each table which serves as souvenir na rin.

The dessert & candy buffet was really a hit at Christoff's party. Tuwang tuwa ang mga guests ko dito. At first, I'm really wondering bakit hindi nila ginagalaw. Pero nung nag-announce na ako na pwede silang kumuha. Aba, biglang dinumog. Malaman laman ko, inaabangan pala nila talaga! Hehehe!

Ian and Chris' 4th Birthday Celebration

It was Ian and Chris' birthday yesterday. Ang bilis talaga ng panahon. Parang kailan lang, we were just waiting for a baby. Then after 4 years of marriage, we were pregnant with twins, tapos ngayon 4 years old na sila. Haaaayyyy buhay nga naman.

We had a simple and intimate celebration yesterday. Nung una, I was just planning to buy food na lang for their handa. You know, less preparation and pagod. At dahil may pagkamasukista ako, it turned out na ako na lang ang nagluto ng lahat except for the cake, of course. Hehe!
