Yesterday, I went to my OBG for my prenatal checkup. I'm 30 weeks already!!! Ambilis ano? =)
From my last checkup, medyo nasabihan ako ng OBG ko na maliit ang baby kaya she advised me to eat and rest more (you can find my blog post HERE). Hahaha! Kaya in 3 weeks time... I GAINED 8 POUNDS!!! OMG talaga!
Haaayyyssstttt talaga!
Hehehe!
After my checkup, we went to Festival mall to eat lunch first then we went to OGUSCA afterwards for Christina Reine's 3D/4D Ultrasound.
May pagkasuplada and shy type ata ang prinsesa namin.
Na-eexcite na ako to meet my princess!
Alam niyo ba?
That's all for today guys! Goodnight everyone!!! =)

Eat, Eat, Eat and Rest, Rest, Rest
I went to my new OBG yesterday for my prenatal check-up. She's old school. She's a complete opposite of my previous OBG.
She measured my tummy and told me that my baby is a little bit small to her age. Not too small naman since it fell below normal lang sa ideal size.
First, she told me that I need to eat and eat which is for the baby. Binisto ako ni hubby na I'm not eating that much. Pag lumalabas naman, I eat well. As I explained to my OBG, nasanay kasi ako sa previous OBG ko who is closely monitoring my weight na hindi ako masyadong pinapakain. Mahirap kasi on my part because I'm big at baka magkagestational diabetes ako or magkapreeclampsia.
PATAY TAYO DIYAN!!! Hahaha!
Second, she told me that I need a lot of rest. And when I rest or sleep, I need to lie down on my left side. Sablay ako pareho sa totoo lang.
Rest? Remember, I don't have a helper right now di ba? As early as 5:30am I'm awake na. I'm taking care pa of the kids. Hanggang gabi na yan. Maaga na ang 11:00pm na tulog ko.
Lying down on my left side? I usually lie down on my right. Dun kasi ako sanay. Mali pala yun, nabloblock ko yung blood flow something. My OBG compared it sa water hose na naiiipit. Actually, nabasa ko nga siya somewhere. I didn't know na talagang important ang paghiga sa left side.
So ano na?
A LOT OF REST + EAT, EAT, EAT = JUBIS!!!
Goodluck to me!
But still, I'll try my best not to gain that much weight...

We Have A Muse!
"Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart."
Psalm 37:3-4
Finally, we have a muse!!!
This is the greatest blessing of all kahit unplanned! Haha! Sa wakas, we are going to have a baby girl! May prinsesa na ako! May maynika na ako! At higit sa lahat, may tagapagmana na ako! Hahaha!
But still, I need to confirm di ba? This time around, may pupulupot na sa kanya. Hehehe!
The big question is...
Ipapasara ko na ba ang factory???
Well, hindi ko pa masagot eh! Undecided pa ako. Kung baga 50-50 pa. Mahabang diskusyon pa yan kay hubby eh. Kasi if we decide na magpaligate na ako, there's no turning back na. What if in the future, gusto pa pala namin magkababy di ba? Ayaw ko naman (and hubby too) magpills. Withdrawal? =)

I'm Preggers... AGAIN!!!
During the past few days, hindi talaga ako mapakali. Why? Feeling ko di pa ako prepared to have a new one and parang naaawa ako kay Christoff dahil baka hindi ko siya masyadong mapansin since yung attention ko more on sa twins (I'm homeschooling them) and to the new baby.
Si hubby naman, medyo relaxed lang. He's not taking seriously all my worries. Like na lang, for example, my text message to him last February 23...
Haha! Pero I talked to him and told him my thoughts about having a new baby.
Then, I made fun na lang out of it. Sabi ko, ano kaya if I'm preggy nga, kung sakali ano kaya ang magiging gender sa Chinese gender calendar...
Hala! At first, na-upset naman ako, kasi sabi BOY daw since my age now is 34 and month of conception is February. Then, I read somewhere that I should make sure that my age should be my Chinese age. Ayun, nagcompute na ako ng Chinese age ko and it turned out na 36 ako dapat. Then I rechecked the Chinese gender calendar, at sa wakas, GIRL na raw. I told hubby about it, sabi ko sa kanya, if totoo nga ang Chinese gender calendar at kung girl na, pwde na rin na preggy ako. Hahaha!
So today, as usual, hindi pa rin ako mapakali so I decided to buy two pregnancy test kits para matapos na ang pag-iisip ko.
I tested twice this morning, and yes, I'm PREGGERS again...
I'll just have an ultrasound on the third week of March to confirm my pregnancy and to make sure that the baby is ok.
Well, nandiyan na yan... It's a gift and blessing from God. Maybe He has plans... Parang noon, kaya pala di muna Niya kami binigyan ng anak dahil ayaw Niya ako mahirapan since hubby is just a training doctor that time. Tapos nung binigyan na Niya kami ng anak, dalawa pala kaagad so bawing bawi yung 4 years na hinintay namin.
Anyway, boy or girl man (pero sana girl na para quota na), I'm wishing for another healthy and safe pregnancy. =)

The Birth of Roy Christoff
Finally, I have time to blog now. =) All of the boys are having their afternoon nap and that's unusual nowadays. Normally, one of them doesn't want to sleep that's why sometimes I feel very frustrated because my schedule for the day is ruined.
Well, I have three boys... 2 toddlers and an infant... I only have one househelp who only cleans the house and washes the clothes of Christoff... I do the cooking, grocery shopping, buying of fresh produce at the wet market, taking care and homeschooling the kids, etcetera, etcetera... Just imagine that...
Anyway, it's been almost a month when I gave birth to Roy Christoff and I still haven't blogged about his birth. Hehe. I told you in my previous blog entry (you can read it here), that my CS operation has been moved several times. So from the initial schedule of December 15, it was finally settled at December 16.
Since it was moved on a later date, I've got an extra day to prepare. Hehe. That extra day (December 15) was really maximized. We went around ATC before lunch. Then we celebrated my dad's birthday at Ramen Tei. After my dad's birthday lunch, my mom and I went to the parlor for some pampering. I believe that I need to be pampered in preparation to no-sleep days. Hehe.
I had foot spa with pedicure...
and a haircut...
After that, we already went to Makati because I need to be admitted to Makati Medical Center for some preparations the day before my CS schedule. But before going to the hospital, we ate first a super late dinner since I need to be NPO by 12:00 midnight.
Moving forward...
On December 16, 2013, at around 9:00am, I gave birth to Roy Christoff Garcia Padua...
Christoff is such a healthy baby boy. His birth weight is 6.11 lbs (He's not that heavy because my OBG is strictly monitoring my weight during my pregnancy) and his Apgar score is 9.
Here is our first picture together...
Our picture after his first latch...
First picture with mommy and daddy...
Here is Christoff's picture at the nursery...
I'm very happy because the CS procedure went well and my baby boy is very healthy. What I didn't like is the number of days I stayed in the hospital and the huge hospital bill. Hehe. I stayed there for 5 days - 1 day for preparation, 1 day for the actual CS procedure and 3 days recovery period. I got bored at the hospital plus I missed the Kulilits. I actually tried to lessen the number of days of my stay at the hospital by making sure to poop and walk the following day. Unfortunately, my OBG didn't allow me to go home because she wants to make sure that I won't have any complications post surgery. =(

Friday the 13th
Its truly Friday the 13th yesterday. My CS operation schedule went crazy. From December 15, it was instantly moved to December 14 yesterday that made my butt go around.
Everything was set already - all of our things are loaded to hubby's car and I carbo loaded knowing that I will be NPO for 2 to 3 days.
Hubby went to Sta. Rosa to do his patient rounds first so we waited in my parent's house. After an hour, hubby called telling me that my CS operation for today was cancelled again and it will be moved on Monday, December 16.
Haaayyysssttt... Hopefully, that schedule will be final already...

CS Operation Moved Tomorrow
Yikes! We were informed by my OB this afternoon that she can't operate me on Sunday due to personal emergency. So instead of being admitted to the hospital tomorrow night, I'll be admitted this evening and have my operation tomorrow morning.
Too bad, Christoff's birthday is supposedly December 15 which is my dad's birthday. =( Anyhow, looking at the bright side, at least my son's first birthday will fall on a Sunday. Nice schedule right? Hehe.
Since I'm somewhat an OC person, I'm already prepared days ago. All our clothes are packed already. I just need to put in the toiletries and baon to our bags.
Here are our things...
Since I need to prepare myself also. I ate a plateful of my mom's spaghetti. Super yummy! Based on experience, I'll be NPO for the next 2 to 3 days so I need to load up. Hehehe!
That's it! See you tomorrow baby Christoff...

Prenatal Checkup at 35 Weeks
I went yesterday to Makati Med for my prenatal checkup. I'm already 35 weeks pregnant and in less than a month, I'll already give birth to Christoff. =)
I'm really happy because my OBG didn't get upset to me yesterday because I didn't gain weight. Yahoo!!! That's actually an achievement for me. Hehe. There was only a slight problem which was about my BP. I was like in the borderline which is around 130/90. But that's maybe because I walked from Burgundy to Makati Med and I haven't rested completely when they took my BP. In fact, I need not worry since hubby is a cardiologist.
Anyway, since I'm near my due date, I'll already be visiting my OBG on a weekly basis. I'm actually given a request for ultrasound, CBC and urinalysis in order for her to know when will I possibly be scheduled to give birth.
Then my OBG told me that she'll be doing me an IE next week. Yikes! I'm really uncomfortable with the idea. Hehe. I really don't know why I need to undergo an IE since I didn't experience it when I was pregnant with the twins.
So that's it for now. Til' my next prenatal checkup guys! =)

Meet Roy Christoff...
I had my 3D/4D Ultrasound this morning at OGUSCA (OB-GYN Ultrasound Center Alabang). The procedure is supposed to be done between 28 and 32 weeks of pregnancy for clearer image of the baby. I'm already 34 weeks and 2 days pregnant but I still tried my luck since I'm sure that I'll feel guilty if my third son will not have his own 3D/4D UTZ. I don't want him question me in the future why he didn't have it unlike his older twin brothers. Let's just say that I wanted to be FAIR. Hehe. =)
Honestly speaking, when I first found out about the gender of my baby, I'm quite disappointed since I'm really wishing for a baby girl. I don't feel excited anymore until I saw his 3D image the first time. He literally kept on smiling at us! His smile melted my heart. He was like saying to me "Mommy, I will give you joy also!".
Ladies and gentlemen, meet Roy Chirstoff G. Padua...
He really seems to be a happy and active baby. Another chubby-cheeked "baba-less" (no chin) bouncing baby boy!
Maybe you are curious to know how the Kulilits look like in their 3D UTZ. Here they were when they were 28weeks and 5 days...
By the way, I went with hubby and the Kulilits. The Kulilits were thrilled to see their little baby brother. In fact, they were mimicking what Christoff was doing.
Look here...
Aren't the twins adorable?
Anyway, I'll upload clearer 3D images of Christoff as soon as I get the CD from OGUSCA.
I hope that you're glad to meet Christoff too! =)

Prenatal Checkup Wednesday
I had my prenatal checkup yesterday. It has been two months since my last checkup. My bad!!! Well, not really. Not that much. Haha! I have my reasons. First, my OGCT's results required me to have OGTT. Second, when my OGTT results were already released and I'm ready to have my next prenatal checkup, my OBG was out of the country. And lastly, I'm hoping to lose some pounds that I gained because of the events, meet-ups and parties that I attended the past few months.
During my prenatal checkup, my weight was checked and my OBG was VERY disappointed because I gained 9 pounds in two months time. That's really huge! The average allowable weight gain per month, according to my doctor, should just be 2 to 3 pounds only. Haaayyysssttt... Why is it I belong to the unfortunate few who gain weight easily???? =(
There's another issue during yesterday's checkup. I have cough and colds that time because I just had a flu. My OBG find my cough too bad. She's scared that I might break my bag through coughing since she just had a case few weeks ago. She immediately instructed hubby to give me antibiotics and mucolytic.
At the doctor's clinic, I just said yes but when I'm already alone with hubby, I told him that I refuse to take in meds. I'm not really into medicines and hubby knows that. I just let my natural antibodies do their roles. Aside from that, I know my body and I can feel that my cough and colds were about to go away. And because of that, my hubby commented: "Mahirap na pasyente ang doctor pero mas mahirap na pasyente ang asawa ng doctor! (It's hard to have a doctor as a patient but it's harder to have a doctor's spouse as a patient!)"
So that's my prenatal checkup yesterday. My next checkup is on the 20th. Hopefully, I won't gain weight anymore. I'll try my very best to control myself. =)

My 33rd Birthday Celebration & Baby Shower
Last October 20, I had a simple but fun 33rd birthday celebration and baby shower at my folks' house. It was attended by my family, relatives and close friends.
I'll photo blog ok? (Note: Most photos were taken by my cousin/kumpare, Ralph "Posei" R. Garcia)

We had a mini program which was hosted by my cousins/kumare & kumpare, Michelle and Posei Garcia.
We started off with games.

After playing games, it was chow time already...
Then we had a poll for the first name of our baby boy...
We were choosing among these names: Reginald (a wise and powerful ruler), Roy (a king) and Reuben (behold a son).
The second name of our son is Christoff which means bearing Christ...
The name "Roy" won!
So its official, our baby boy will be named Roy Christoff...
After the poll, I opened some of my baby shower gifts.
My childhood bestfriend Monique...
My brother-in-law, Francis...
My CSA bestfriend, Irina...
and my UP bestfriend, Annabeth...
That finally ended the program.
And guess what's next? It's Videoke time and who do you think are the initiators?
Who else, but the Kulilits...
Sorry for Papa G. He is no longer the Videoke King. Hehehe!
So that's it! That's my birthday celebration slash baby shower. I hope you had a great time looking at the pictures. =)

My CSA bestfriend, Irina...
and my UP bestfriend, Annabeth...
That finally ended the program.
And guess what's next? It's Videoke time and who do you think are the initiators?
