Kulilits Moments: Curious Minds

Wow! It has been almost 6 months since the last time I blogged. Sobrang busy na talaga. So sorry! With four kids plus a hubby without a household help, sobrang hahanapan na lang talaga ng time to blog.

Sobrang curious nila talaga. Yung mga tanong pa nila yung tipong hindi ko pa kayang i-explain ngayon since they are just 5 years old. Haayyysttt...

So here it goes...

Chris: Mommy, is daddy really an actor?
Me: Hmmm... yes! He has a movie. Hahaha!)
Chris: What was the title of the movie again?
Me: I Love You Goodbye
Ian: Why do you say I love you to goodbye?
Me: It's just the title of the movie anak.
Chris: Can we watch it?
Me: Hmmm... you can only watch the scene where daddy is.
Ian: Why can't we watch the whole movie mommy?
Me: Because there are scenes that you can't watch.
Chris: Why?
Doc Padu: Because it is not yet appropriate to your age.
Ian: Is there kissing like in Spiderman?
Me: Hmmm... yes...
Chris: Why is kissing yucky? Why do you need to cover our eyes? Well, can we watch it with daddy and just cover our eyes if there are kissing.
Me: No! Just the scenes where daddy is.
Chris: Why? I want to watch it!
Me: Because it is for adults only.
Chris: Why only for adults? Why can't we watch it?
Me: Ang kulit mo ha! Sobra kang curious! When you become a teenager your daddy will talk with you about it. For now, you are too young for those things.
Chris: Why? Because when we are going to be a teenager, we are going to love a girl?
Doc Padu: What love? You study first and learn to earn a living!

Hahaha! Besides, gaya nga ng sinabi ko kanina, they are just 5 years old!!!

Christmas Came Too Early for Us

This blog post is supposed to be last last week pa... pero, as usual, nabaon lang sa aking drafts folder. I haven't blogged that much the past few months eh) plus I'm still adjusting my schedule since the birth of Ina plus Christmas season pa. Huhuhu! Kulang talaga ang 24 hours eh...

Anyway, I think we've been good this year. Specially to my boys.

Bakit kamo?

Here are their gifts from their Papa G:

Light sabers and Spiderman figures for the twins and Darthvader Mr. Potato Head for Christoff...

Tablets for the boys...

They'll be using it kasi for their studies eh. As homeschoolers, they'll be having portfolio reviews (A portfolio review is equivalent to an examination). Since it's too much, na shy shy ako magrequest. Kaya, instead of requesting for a new one, nagtanong na lang ako sa kanya if he is still using his tablet PC...

Me: Daddy, yung tablet PC na pareho kayo ni mommy ginagamit mo pa ba?
Papa G: Oo, bakit?
Me: Ok. Thank you daddy!

Siyempre, I agreed to the condition kasi personally ganun naman talaga ang gagawin ko.

Wait! Wait! May naalala lang ako. May funny conversation kami ng dad ko while buying the tablets.

Me: Grabe talaga ha, nung bata kami,
Papa G: ngingiti ngiti
Me: Bakit ka ngingiti ngiti daddy?
Papa G: Wala...
Me: Hmmm...

Eh may dinner parents ko with my Ninong at City of Dreams.

And may pahabol pa, toy cars from Petron...

Kaya look at my boys, they were very happy with the gifts that they received from Papa G that day...

Of course, ako rin may blessing... naging maaga rin ang pasko ko... kasi my brother gave me a new cellphone... Akala ko nagbibiro lang, serioso pala...

Thank you Papa G and to my brother Paolo dahil napaaga niyo ang pasko naming mag-iina! Mwah! Mwah! Mwah! =)

Kulilits Moment: Random Conversations with the Twins

Scenario 1: On Having a Kid

While we were in the car...

Doc Padu: I think I'm hungry for a pwet!
Chris: No!
Doc Padu: Can I bite your pwet?
Chris: No! When I'll have my own kids, I will not bite their pwet!
Doc Padu: Anak naman, don't grow up too fast! You're thinking about having a kid na!

Scenario 2: Death

On the way to Sonya's garden for my MIL's birthday dinner...

Chris: Mommy, if I die, will people miss me?
Me (surprised): What? Anak, why are you talking about death? You'll not die yet.
Chris: Ooopsss sorry... That is when I became old...

Nakakaloka at the same time nakakatakot! Ang morbid!

Scenario 3: Playing Safe

Me: Mga anak, who is more handsome, Tito Ninong Paolo or Tito Ninong Raph?
Ian: deadma lang
Chris: Tito Ninong Paolo and Tito Ninong Raph! They are both handsome!

O di ba? Playing safe ang anak ko. Hahaha!

Scenario 4: Favorite Tito Ninong

Me: Who is your favorite Tito Ninong Boys?
Chris: Tito Ninong Paolo!
Me: How about you Ian?
Ian: My real favorite Tito Ninong?
Me: Yes.
Ian: My real favorite Tito Ninong is Tito Ninong Rap Rap!
Me: Why?
Ian: Because he has a Minion pjs!

Hahaha!

My Children: Blessing and Gift from God

In the Bible, it is written in Psalm 127:3 that children are a blessing and gift from the Lord. That is really true and I can attest to that! =)

To give you a brief background, my husband and I were having a hard time conceiving during our first few years as a married couple. It came to the point that we had ourselves tested which made us somehow lose our hope of having a child because we found out that I have PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) and hubby has a low sperm count.

Then on our fourth year as a married couple, a BIG surprise came. I couldn't believe it that we were already pregnant not only with one but two babies. Alam niyo yun, sobrang nakakaiyak kasi we were only asking for one but God gave us two kaagad unexpectedly because, honestly speaking, we weren't trying anymore. And guess what? They came out on February 1. A perfect gift for our 5th year wedding anniversary.

For our next baby naman, come what may na ang thinking namin because I'm not sure again if I could still conceive kasi nga hirap kami gumawa before. Surprisingly, after 2 years, we became pregnant again. We were really hoping for a baby girl para sana quota na dahil nga tumatanda na kami. But I think God has another plan for us that's why he gave us another boy. And guess what? He came out on December 16. A perfect Christmas gift to us!

For our "last" baby ("last" kasi di pa sure kung last na talaga. Anyway, our last baby is finally a girl. Katuparan din ng wish namin mag-asawa. And guess what? She came out on October 22. Of course, a perfect birthday gift for me.

Kulilits Moments: Halo Halong Usapan with the Twins

Scenario 1: Why Handsome?

Me: Ian, why are you so handsome? Who do you look like? Mommy or daddy?
Doc Padu (butting in): Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!
Ian: Mommy... When I grow up, I want to be like Papa G...
Me: Why not like daddy?
Ian: Because daddy is FAT!

Hahaha!

Scenario 2: Chris Bolero

Chris talking to Mama G...

Chris: You know what Mama G?
Mama G: What?
Chris: My favorite lola is Lola Es and my favorite mama is Mama G!

Bolero talaga si Chris ano? Marunong magplay safe!

Scenario 3: Chris Makalola

When we were in Disney Sea, Chris saw a hotdog stand...

Chris: Mommy, I'm hungry...
Me: We have a baon here. What do you want?
Chris: Hotdog sandwich...
Me: We have a baon. Just eat your baon.
Chris: Mommy, where is Mama G?
Me; She's at the apartment.
Chris (crying): I want Mama G!

Hahaha!

That's it for now guys... Ipon muna ulit ako... =)

Stressful Friday

Homeschooling is not that easy, I tell you. Kaya if you decide that you'll homeschool your kids, dapat buo na talaga ang loob mo and ready ka.

In my case, what make homeschooling more challenging are:
  • I homechool twins (and they are both boys) - yes, dalawa dalawa sila that I teach everyday. Minsan sabay, minsan isa isa. It really depends on the subject. Pero take note, dalawa pa lang yan. Soon magiging apat na sila (Christoff and baby no. 4). Pero I know naman na kakayanin ko because I know of some homeschooling families, na more than five silang nag-aaral. Sooner and later naman, I know na magiging magaan na sa akin. Right now, tutok since they are in their preschool years. When they reach gradeschool, most likely, guidance na lang ang gagawin ko.
  • I still have a toddler (and soon an infant, again) - that is Christoff! He is really malikot and sometimes tends to be so clingy and demanding. Sabi ko nga eh, talo pa niya yung kambal. When Chris and Ian were 1 y/o, hindi sila ganyan kalikot. Let me say, x2 or x3 siya ng kambal!
  • I don't have a househelp - I do everything in the house (except laba't plantsa). Imagine niyo na lang ako na parang trumpo sa umaga because most of the household chores, I do it in the morning while the kids are still asleep.
  • I'm pregnant - supposedly, limited dapat ang galaw ko. Pero in my case right now, parang hindi ako buntis kung kumilos.
  • I have a lot of paperworks (accounting for hubby's practice) - need kong tutukan ito.
Actually, we are doing great in homeschooling. Sabi nga ng teacher/consultant during the twins' mid-year assessment, nakakatuwa kami dahil umpisa pa lang success story na. In fact, by next year (April 2015), isasama na ang kambal sa moving up. Meaning, grade 1 na sila at 5 years old pa lang.

Pero sa totoo lang, hindi everyday happy. May araw siyempre na medyo pre-occupied ako sa dami ng iniisip na gagawin ko, minsan not in the mood ako or di kaya yung kambal. Like last Friday, super stressed out ako sa kambal. Bakit kamo? I actually told them na we stop na and we'll just continue it the following day. Pero sila naman ang ayaw mag-stop. They want daw to study pa. Kaya ayun, 4 hours mahigit kami for just 1 subject! Imagine that!!! Haaayyysssstttt....

Literally, I became a MOMSTER that day. Sobrang nanginginig ako sa galit (I'm not perfect, tao lang ako at nauubos din ang pasensya). I know that they know what we were studying that time. They were just pretending na hindi nila alam. Yung tipong, tinatamad mag-isip. Lam niyo yun. With Chris, in less than 10 minutes, natapos kaagad namin. Then nung tinawag ko na si Ian, ang bilis din then may comment pa siya na "I'm fast in homeschooling!" after namin matapos kaagad. Eto pa ang matindi, nung gabi, nagyaya sila magdraw. So nadatnan sila ng daddy nila na nagdradraw. At etong si Ian, nag-draw ng Spiderman then i-spell daw niya ang Spiderman and he'll write it down sa drawing niya.

I said sorry already to my kids because I lost my patience and yelled at them. They said sorry din to me for not doing well in homeschooling.

At the end of the day, parang walang naganap na drama, back to our usual selves na kami.

Homeschooling the Kulilits: Travel Activity

This is a super long overdue post...

Since I got amused when I read a blog post about learning through pretend travel, I did it also with the twins. =)

I made them a passport...

We traveled first to China. I made them wear their Chinese costumes. Excited naman sila...

What did we do?

Well, I showed them where China is in the globe. Then, showed them some things that are used in China such as chop sticks, bowls, teapots, abacus, etc. I let them watch also some video about China.

This activity is really fun!

Padua Twins' Summer Swimming Class 2015

Summer na!!! So... swimming time na naman for the Padua twins! I enrolled them again to a swimming class here at our clubhouse.

Today is their first day and, as always, they are enjoying it!

Here are their pictures that I took earlier...

Fun right? Very busy ang mga Kulilits this summer. They are taking swimming and football classes. =)

By the way, segway lang ako...

Medyo nalulungkot ako... You know why? Kahit ang pedia sabi maliit sila for their age. Pero they are not thin and sickly naman kaya ok lang daw. Hahaha! Sana nga may growth spurts!

So yun lang po... Good night everybody! =)

Football Trial Lesson of Ian and Chris

I want to expose my kids to sports. Yung tipong may sports sila kung saan sila magaling. I think ang saya nun if someday I'll be their number 1 cheerleader and fan. Hahaha! Ako kasi, sporty pero di lang halata. Hahaha!

Kaya nga, as early as 1 year old, we enrolled na our twins to swimming lessons. For me kasi, it's a must na dapat  confident sa water at marunong magswim ang mga anak ko.

That's why we are still discovering it. We had them try Taekwondo in a trial class. Pero I think they are still young for that and medyo hindi pa nila feel.

Then we had them try football last Tuesday. Chelsea Football Club Soccer School Philippines offered kasi a free trial lesson to TMA Homeschool students. Kaya ayun, we grabbed the opportunity to see if the twins would like it.

Their football field is at Blue Pitch inside Circuit Makati...

It's a huge football field with artificial grass...

Here are the pictures of the twins during their trial lesson...

and here are some videos...

You can see in their faces that they are so happy and they had a lot of fun during the trial lesson. I think football is for them. That's why hubby and I decided that we'll enroll them this summer. So there, their formal football lesson will start on April 7 na! I'm so excited!!!

Pero may side kwento pa ako...

After their football trial lesson, we are about to go home na. Pero out of nowhere...

Ian: Mommy, I want to go to Tito Ninong Paolo. He'll give me my Bumblebee!
Chris: And my Optimus Prime too!

Haaayyy...

I called their Tito Ninong and he immediately agreed to meet us. At may bonus pa, niyaya pa kami magdinner. Hehehe.

Here are the boys with their new toys from Tito Ninong Paolo...

Thank you again Tito Ninong Paolo for being a loving and thoughtful ninong and uncle to your nephews! And thank you also for the sumptuous dinner!

By the way, imention ko na rin dito sa post that Mama G bought them football jerseys.

Thank you ulit Mama G for buying and personally delivering these football jerseys to our home!

That's all guys! Happy weekend!!!

Kulilits Moments: Pabaon sa Weekend

For a happy weekend, I would like to share you some of our conversations with the Padua twins...

Scenario 1: While Homeschooling

Ian: Mommy, why did Tito Ninong told us that our light saber is not a real light saber?
Me: Who's Tito Ninong?
Ian: The one with a big tummy!
Me: Who is that?
Ian: Tito Ninong Paolo!

Oh di ba? Di talaga marunong magsinungaling ang bata! ***Peace, Tito Ninong Paolo***

Scenario 2: Je Ann Having a Date with Her Boyfriend

Chris: Mommy, I don't want Ate Je Ann to have a date with Chris!
Me: Why?
Chris: Because he is HANDSOME-MA! (read as handsama)

Ang kulit lang eh!

Scenario 3: Usapang Vajajay

Chris: Mommy, can Ate Je Ann see your vajajay?
Me: No anak. Ate Je Ann can't see my vajajay too.
Chris: Who can only see your vajajay?
Me: Ummm... a doctor can see my vajajay (I'm referring to my OB Gyne)
Chris: So daddy can see your vajajay because he is a doctor!
Me (I really don't know what to answer): Ummm... Daddy is a cardiologist. He is a doctor of the heart. He doesn't see a vajajay. But he saw a lot of vajajay when he was still training during his OB rotation.
Ian: I want to be an OB mommy!

Haaayyystttt!!! Ian boy talaga! Natawa talaga ako sa sagot niya eh. Sana talaga di na ako nag-explain pa. Hahaha! Pero ha, hindi ko alam kung bakit masyado silang curious about the vajajay thing. Maybe because nagiging mulat na siguro sila about sexuality.

Scenario 4: Guard of Je Ann

Ian: Mommy, I don't like the boyfriend of Ate Je Ann. I will point a gun on Chris! (The name of Je Ann's boyfriend is Chris)
Me: Hey! Hey! Anak, that is not good! Pointing a gun to other people is not good.
Doc Padu: Yes anak, a gun is not a toy and you are not suppose to point it to other people. Remember that!
Ian: But, I am the guard of Ate Je Ann, right?

Ah... But still, at least he knows already that pointing a gun to other people is not good.

Scenario 5: Firing Chris (The Boyfriend of Je Ann)

Chris: Mommy, I will tell Mama G to fire Chris!
Me: Why?
Chris: So that he will not have money and she would not be able to ask Ate Je Ann for a date anymore!

Have a great weekend guys!!!

Kulilits Moments: A Lot More!!!

I'd love to share more conversations with my boys...

Scenario 1: Je Ann to be Married

We are teasing Chris that Je Ann will marry her boyfriend...

Me: Chris, Ate Je Ann will already marry her boyfriend.
Chris (almost crying): I don't want Ate Je Ann to marry her boyfriend!
Je Ann: Why don't you like me to get married?
Chris: Because... Because you are cooking our food and washing the dishes!

Niyek! Hahaha!

Scenario 2: Phone Conversation with Chris

When we were in the seminar, I called the house to check on the Kulilits and Chris was the one who answered the phone...

Chris: Hello!
Me: Hello there my son!
Chris: Who is this?
Me: This is mommy, anak.
Chris: Is this Cheryll?
Me: Yes.
Chris: Ate Je Ann, Cheryll is on the phone!

Talaga nga naman itong anak ko. Americanized? By first name talaga ang tawag sa akin! Wala man lang 'Mommy Cheryll'. Hmf!

Scenario 3: Boobies

When we were about to sleep...

Ian (pointing to my boobs): Mommy, what's this?
Me: Boobies
Ian: Why is it big?
Me: Because I'm a girl, anak.
Ian: So all girls have big boobies and boys have small boobies.
Me: Yes
Ian: Why does it have milk?
Me: Because I'm a mother
Ian: Mommy, my Tita Ninang has big boobies.
Me: Who?
Ian (referring to his Ninang Monique): The mommy of Kuya Gab!
Me: Ikaw talaga anak...

Scenario 4: Steak

While teaching the boys about Go, Grow and Glow food...

Me: For grow foods, you just have to remember eggs, meats and milk. There are different kinds of meat. Fish, chicken, pork, beef and other seafoods. This steak is an example of meat. It's beef... but we are not eating that...
Chris: Only Doc Padu?

Natawa talaga ako sa anak ko! Nakita na naman ang daddy niya.

Scenario 5: Girlfriend

While playing pretend using a toy cellphone...

Me: Hello Chris! Do you have a girlfriend?
Chris: I don't want a girlfriend! I only want you mommy!
Ian (as kontrabida as ever): I want a girlfriend mommy!
Me: So you want a girlfriend, Ian?
Ian: Yes. I want a girlfriend who knows how to cook.
Me: So you like Ate Je Ann as your girlfriend?
Ian: No! I want a nice girlfriend!
Me: Why? Isn't Ate Je Ann nice?
Ian: No! She has ugly teeth!

Wow! Choosy ang anak ko! Kaya sa mga future girls na pipila sa anak ko, tandaan niyo, one criteria na hanap niya is having a good set of teeth. Hehehe!

Scenario 6: Vajajay

Before going to bed...

Me: Wait! I'll just go to the CR.
Ian: Why mommy?
Me: I'll just wash my...
Ian: Wash what? Your vajajay?
Chris: You're going to wash your vajajay mommy?
Ian: Hehehe! Vajajay...

Mga pilyong bata!

Scenario 7: Artista

One time, medyo tinoyo si Chris at nag-inarte because I didn't allow him to play with his collector's item toy. May pahikbi hikbi pang nalalaman.

Chris (with all smiles): Hi mommy! I'm just being an artista!
Me: Really? Why did you say that?
Chris: I'm just being an artista when I cried because I want the M&M's car!

Kanino kaya nagmana? Sige anak, go! Hahaha!

Yan lang po for now... Ipon muna ulit ako ng kuwento. Goodnight everyone!!!

Ian and Chris' 4th Birthday Celebration

It was Ian and Chris' birthday yesterday. Ang bilis talaga ng panahon. Parang kailan lang, we were just waiting for a baby. Then after 4 years of marriage, we were pregnant with twins, tapos ngayon 4 years old na sila. Haaaayyyy buhay nga naman.

We had a simple and intimate celebration yesterday. Nung una, I was just planning to buy food na lang for their handa. You know, less preparation and pagod. At dahil may pagkamasukista ako, it turned out na ako na lang ang nagluto ng lahat except for the cake, of course. Hehe!

Here were the handa of the twins:

Cakes from Daisee Bakeshop...

Pansit bihon...

Steamed Lapu Lapu...

Buttered steamed vegetables...

Stir fried kangkong with fried tofu...

Salmon belly with butter garlic sauce...

Turbo chicken...

Here are my family and best friend celebrating the twins' special day...

My parents, brother and his girlfriend with the boys...

Our family picture...

With Uncle Francis, Kuya Bimbo and Ai...

The effort was worth it seeing my boys happy! =)

Kulilits Moments: Samu't Sari

Hello guys! So sad talaga! =( Sobrang naipon na mga kwento ko! Baka maging history na. Huhuhu! Gustuhin ko man kasi, pero limited lang ang time ko.

Anyway, here muna ulit for now...

The Boogies...

On our way to Baguio...

Chris: I have boogies Papa G! Can you pick my nose?
Papa G: Ok. Can you check my nose apo. I have a lot of boogies too. Can you remove it?
Chris (checking Papa G's nose): You have long hair inside your nose Papa G!

Laugh trip talaga kami sa car. O di ba? Di marunong magsinungaling ang bata!

Hotdogs...

Chris: Mommy, what do we have for lunch?
Me: We have sopas.
Chris: Are there hotdogs in the sopas?
Me: Yes.
Chris: But mommy, Papa G does not like hotdogs. He said it is bad for your health. But I love hotdogs, Papa G should try it!

You know why Chris said that? We have a rule kasi in the house about food wherein they should try it first before saying no. Kaya ayun, Papa G should try it first daw. Ang kulit lang eh!

Goliath...

Actually, this scenario is about hubby not the kids. Ishare ko lang kasi nakakatawa lang eh.

Chris: I'll pretend to be a giant. I'm Goliath!
Doc Padu (to me): Ok yun ha. Si Goliath. Samson and Goliath.
Me (thinking that hubby is joking): Anong Samson and Goliath?
Doc Padu (with full confidence): Samson and Goliath!
Me: Ano ka ba? Si David no! David and Goliath tapos Samson and Delilah!

Talaga ang hubby ko... Medyo nagrurumble ang Bible characters niya. Parang kahapon, sabi niya si Joseph (son of Jacob), yun daw yung nasubo ng whale. Haaayyysssttt... Hahaha!

Burp...

While holding Christoff...

Me: Burpppp!!!
Chirstoff (pretending to burp): Uuu! Uuu! Uuu! sabay smile at me

Yes, si Christoff na 1 year old, nakikikulit na!

That would be all for now! Goodnight everybody! =)

Kulilits Moments: The Fedora Hat

This afternoon, Mama G came to our house with these fedora hats for the boys...

The boys were very delighted to see their pasalubong from Mama G and immediately wore them. Then after a few minutes, Chris laid down the floor and pretended to be dead with his fedora hat beside him.

Chris (on the floor): Look Mama G!
Mama G (wondering): Why are you dead?
Chris: I'm pretending to be the man in "Bayang Magiliw"!

Natawa kami ni Mama G since the man that he's referring to is Jose Rizal. Imagine that, very observant pala ang Chris. I'm teaching the twins kasi to sing the "Lupang Hinirang" (Philippine National Anthem) and I'm playing the song via Youtube. And here is the screen capture of the part wherein Jose Rizal fell down the ground which Chris was imitating...

Amazing right?

But wait, there's more!

Me (deadma kuno sa PANDORA hat): Ano yun Ma?
Me: Kasi...

As in hindi ako makahinga at maluha luha pa ako sa katatawa.

Haha! Just want to share lang po...

For this year's halloween, WALA LANG! As in walang ka-effort effort! Bakit kamo? (1) Tamadochi kasi ako that time. I'm asking and giving them suggestions kasi kung ano ang gusto nilang costume for the halloween, pero walang ibang gusto kundi ang kanilang Spiderman costume. Haaayssttt... Naalala ko tuloy yung last year (you can read it here) nung nagtantrums si Ian dahil ang gustong costume ay yung Spiderman.

Anyway, eto lang ang scenario namin that day...

As in bonding bonding lang ang mag-aama. Watching TV and reading books - as simple as that. =)

Then, my MIL called hubby. Kaya I searched for a halloween event and settled in going to Westgate na lang (our usual halloween destination).

So here are my little Spideys with their daddy...

For Christoff naman,  he used Ian's cowboy costume...

As usual, there is a magic show at Westgate...

Here are my boys watching the magic show...

There are also games there, wherein the Kulilits joined one of the games...

After the event at Westgate, we ate dinner at BBQ Chicken and Beer in Molito. Sakto din kasi may halloween event din doon. Kaso lang, mas for my hubby yung event dahil rock band lang ang meron...

So while hubby is enjoying the rock band, kami naman ng mga Kulilits, nag-enjoy sa kulitan and habulan sa may grass area...

As in, takbo dito, takbo doon, tumbling dito, tumbling doon, gulong dito, gulong doon at kung ano ano pa! Pati kamo ako, nagtanggal ng aking shoes at nakilaro sa kanila. Ang sarap lang ng feeling to be carefree that night. Ang sarap lang talaga maging BATA!

Here are my boys enjoying the grass...

Here is also a video of the Kulilits that night...

Ang saya nila sobra ano? PRICELESS! I just let them be. Bata eh! =)

Yan ang happenings namin last halloween. Hopefully next year, mapaghandaan ulit namin...

Kulilits Moments: On Yakult, Paper and Dog

Ang tagal na since the last time I wrote about my conversations with the twins. Here are some few that I would like to share.

Scenario 1: For the Sake of Yakult

Yesterday, my son, Chris, woke up with an ouchie tummy...

Chris: Mommy, my tummy is ouchie.
Me: Oh baby, you're tummy is ouchie. Come here let me kiss your tummy.

after kissing his tummy...

Me: Go drink a Yakult. That will help you remove your ouchie.

after saying that...

Ian: Mommy, my feet are aching. I need to drink Yakult.
Me (smiling): Come here baby, let me kiss your feet then you drink your Yakult too.

After Ian drank his Yakult, I talked to him and told him that he doesn't need to pretend just to ask for a Yakult, what he needs to do is just ask me.

Scenario 2: Pilosopong Chris

Earlier during our homeschool session...

Me: Chris, can you read this to me please. What is this?
Chris (referring to what I'm holding): Paper!

What is this kasi ang tanong ko eh. Hahaha! Sobrang mga pilosopo and minsan niloloko ako while we are homeschooling.

Speaking of being pilosopo and maloko, kanina rin may ganito kaming conversation...

Scenario 3: I Don't Know

While making them read dog (which I know they know)...

Me: Spell this out Chris...
Chris: D...O...G... DA-O-GA...
Me: So how do you read it?
Chris (with his naughty grin): Hmmmmm....
Me (giving a clue): What is Pawie?
Chris: Pawie is an animal!
Me: So, what kind of animal is Pawie?
Chris (saying it with a tune): I DON'T KNOW!!!
Me: Oh, Pawie is a CAT!
Chris: No! Pawie is not a cat mommy. He is a DOG!
Me: See! I knew it! You silly Chris!

Ang kulit lang talaga di ba?

I really love my boys! They are so fun to be with. Hinding hindi ako maiinip when I'm with them.

Kulilits Moments: Honest Conversation with Their Daddy

Laugh trip pa talaga kami bago matulog eh.

When the Kulilits were about to go upstairs...

Doc Padu (serious): Boys, wait! Before you go up, stand up here first and I need your honest answer.
Kulilits: Clueless and looks a little bit scared of their dad (Maybe thinking that they did something wrong).
Doc Padu (still serious): Both of you, stand up here and look at me in the eyes... Answer me, DO YOU FIND YOUR DADDY HANDSOME?
Chris: You are a sleepy head daddy!
Ian: You are slow as a turtle daddy!
Doc Padu: Ano raw?
Me (laughing out loud): Sleepy head ka raw sabi ni Chris tapos slow as a turtle ka raw sabi ni Ian.
Doc Padu: Ganun? Hmf!

Ang kulit lang ano? Ang tanong ni hubby is answerable by YES or NO lang pero ang dami nang sinabi ng mga Kulilits. Honest answer nga naman daw eh! Ayun, naging honest sa daddy nila. Hahaha!

Have a great weekend guys!
