Adventures in Marinduque: Property in Laylay

Our trip to Marinduque is actually double purpose. One is for pleasure and the other one is to complete the transfer of a property to our family corporation.

When we arrived at Boac, Monday afternoon, we just checked-in at Tahanan sa Isok then my mom and I went immediately to BIR to process the CAR (Certificate Authorizing Registration). Napending kasi nung pinalakad namin before sa staff namin eh. When we were there, yun na nga, hinihingan pa ako ng mode of transfer kung paano nasalin sa existing na may-ari. So para matapos na, I went kaagad sa assessor's office sa kapitolyo to get a copy of the previous deed of absolute sale. So hinihingan ako ngayon ng proof if the previous owner has paid taxes. Since it's almost 5pm na, we decided na lakarin na lang the next day.

When we went back to the hotel, I reported kaagad sa dad ko kung ano ang nangyari. So he decided to come with me na lang kinabukasan para masettle na yung mga issues.

Since may araw pa that day, my dad asked us to check out our property muna at Laylay, Boac, Marinduque. It's actually in an island. Cool right? =)

Our property has a lot of mangroves and coconut trees and it is surrounded by the Boac river at one side and the Tablas straight at the other side.

Here is the view with the Boac river beside it...

Here is the view with the Tablas straight beside it...

Our property has actually a nice location. It is beside Boac river and we also have a shoreline fronting the Tablas Straight.

Another plus point with our property is that they recently discovered a shipwreck there. It just means that it will be a future diving spot. In the photo below, you can see floaters (small lang) sa water where the shipwreck is located.

There is also another good news to us. My dad had our property surveyed and we found out that the ruins which they call "Bahay na Bato" or "Stone House" are included in our property. Sobrang saya talaga kasi I'm sure this will be a future tourist spot when developed. =)

Below are some pictures of the ruins...

Since it is getting dark already, we went back to the main island, ate dinner and rested at the hotel.

The following day, we immediately went to the registry of deeds and talked to the main officer there regarding our concern. He also told us that what is BIR requiring us is unnecessary since there is an OCT na nga and the tax declaration is already named after the existing owner. So he talked to the RDO (Revenue District Officer) regarding our issue and referred us to her.

We went back to BIR and talked to the RDO. So pinaprocess na kaagad niya yung CAR. And alas, in just one day, may CAR na kami!

When we got our CAR, we went back to the registry of deeds to process the transfer of the title. Unfortunately, hindi na raw kakayanin ang 2 hours and may mga documents pa na kailangan (notarized secretary's certificate and articles of incorporation). In short, we stayed again in Boac for another night para lang matapos na.

The following day, we immediately processed the transfer of the title. I gave them all the documents and requested them to process the transfer na para hindi na kami bumalik sa Marinduque. That same day, we got na our TCT (Transfer Certificate of Title).

And take note, in just 3 days yan ha. Kaya naman pala ng government mag-issue ng CAR and TCT in one day eh.

That's it guys!!!

Adventures in Marinduque: Bellarocca Island Part 3

This blog entry is about our last day at Bellarocca Island Resort & SPA.

Our initial plan for the day is to swim at the seaside swimming pool (infinity pool). Unfortunately it is under maintenance when we got there. We have to wait daw for 1.5 hours to be able to swim. Eh sayang ang oras since we need to check out at 12:00nn kaya we went to the Aqua Sports Center instead.

We went swimming at the beach. They enjoyed the sea water. Walang takot talaga! Basta tubig ata, go go go lang yung dalawa eh.

What I like about the sea water is that it is not that salty as compared to other beach. Very clean din ang tubig as in makikita niyo yung ilalim. Ang drawback lang is instead of sand, pebbles yung shore dito. Pero carry lang naman. =)

We went kayaking also. Saglit nga lang. Scared kasi si hubby eh. Hahaha! Inggit nga ako sa parents and brother ko kasi they went kayaking around Bellarocca Island.

Hahaha!).

Actually, while we were kayaking, nagtatalo kami ni hubby.

Imagine you are riding a bicycle!
...turn! turn! turn!
...wag kang lalayo!

Ang sagot ko naman is:

...why do I need to balance? Relax lang naman ako eh. Ikaw ang galaw ng galaw diyan eh! You don't need to do anything, just be still!
...Yes, I'm turning na! Hindi ka ba marunong magsagwan? If you want to go to the left, sa right ka magsasagwan. If you want to go to the right, sa left ka naman magsasagwan.
Beside, may life vest tayo!

Doc Padu: Hindi!

Natatawa kasi ako sa reaction ni hubby eh yung tipong panic to the max. Eh, napansin niya ako.

Doc Padu: Anong tinatawa tawa mo diyan?
Me: Wala, naalala ko lang yung kanina. Takot na takot ka eh. Nagulat tuloy yung kambal. As if naman malulunod ka eh ang babaw babaw and may life vest tayong suot.
Me: Hu... Lalo tuloy umuuga yung kayak kaya tumaob. Tapos, napansin ko hindi ka sumasagwan. Ako ang pinagsasagwan mo. Wala kang ginawa kundi magbalance.
Doc Padu: Oo na! Oo na! Eh sa hindi ako marunong magkayak eh!
Me: Hahaha! Ayun naman pala eh! Eh di inamin mo rin! May nalalaman ka pang 'you should balance like riding a bicycle' jan!
Doc Padu: Hmf! Wala kang ibang alam apihin kundi ako! Huwag mong ibloblog yan ha!!!
Me (with evil grin): Bahala ka! Bwahahaha!

Me: Be, alika dali, tignan mo ang ganda!
Doc Padu: wore his snorkeling gear and went under water sabay tayo kaagad in less than 2 seconds.
Me: Hahaha!
Doc Padu: Inaapi mo talaga ako!

Anyway, when my parents arrived. We all, except for hubby, went snorkeling to the deep waters. Ang saya! Ang daming fishes. Iba't ibang kulay and sizes.

After magsnorkeling ni hubby, we all went back to our rooms to prepare for our check-out.

That's it! That's our last day at Bellarocca. Very fun and memorable. Hehe. =)

Adventures in Marinduque: Bellarocca Island Part 2

Here is the Part 2 of our stay in Bellarocca Island...

WARNING: Picture Overload!!!

We were greeted by the majestic view of Mt. Malindig when we woke up the following day.

I asked hubby to eat breakfast while the kulilits are still sleeping. So, we went to Bellarocca's restaurant.

After swimming, the kulilits watched Spiderman (again) with Mama G in the room.

Lunch time came and we all headed back to the restaurant. While waiting for the food to be served, hubby and the kulilits went to the lobby to feed the fishes.

When my boys back to the restaurant, picture picture muna kami...

After lunch, we all went back to our rooms and had our afternoon nap. Eto ang tunay bakasyon! Yung tipong relax relax and pahinga lang. =)

In the afteroon, we (except for my brother) had a tour of Bellarocca Island. It only took us around 30 minutes to tour the whole island.

Here is our ride - golf cart...

We were given a chance to go inside Valhalla, one of Bellarocca's Villas.

At the back of the villa, it has its own infinity pool and jacuzzi. Bongga di ba? Bongga din ang rate per night! Kaya kami, hanggang picture taking na lang...

Then we went to the helipad and took some pictures...

We went also to the tea house. They said that you can arrange a romantic dinner here.

There are a lot of fire trees there which are very attractive.

Our last stop is at the seaside swimming pool.

After our mini tour, we had a glimpse of the breathtaking sunset at Bellarocca. Here are some of the pictures that hubby took...

After watching the sunset, pahinga ulit kami sa room, then dinner then sleeping time na. Di naman nakakataba ano? Hehehe.

That summed up our day 2 at Bellarocca Island. =)
