And guess who broke it?

... Oh yes... Mr. Roy Christoff a.k.a. Cheryll Jr. (Mana raw sa akin sa kalikutan at pagiging destructive! Hahaha!)

How did it happen?

Well, while Chris and Christoff were taking a bath this morning, napikon itong si Christoff sa kuya niya kaya hinagis ang telephone shower sa floor. So I went inside the bathroom...

Me: What happened?
Chris: Christoff, wants to go out the bath area and he doesn't want me to wet him.
Me: Then?
Chris: Then he threw this... (showing the telephone shower)
Me: Christoff, how many times did I tell you to stop throwing things whenever you feel bad? Look at this, what if you broke this? We need to spend again just to fix this right?

Then, when I turned on the water, water came out of the handle too. All the while, I thought the connection was just loose. May padrama drama at mega-explanation pa ako na what if kung nasira niya... Yun pala, basag na talaga!

Oh my Roy talaga! Kamot ulo na lang ako...

Kulilits Moments: The Fedora Hat

This afternoon, Mama G came to our house with these fedora hats for the boys...

The boys were very delighted to see their pasalubong from Mama G and immediately wore them. Then after a few minutes, Chris laid down the floor and pretended to be dead with his fedora hat beside him.

Chris (on the floor): Look Mama G!
Mama G (wondering): Why are you dead?
Chris: I'm pretending to be the man in "Bayang Magiliw"!

Natawa kami ni Mama G since the man that he's referring to is Jose Rizal. Imagine that, very observant pala ang Chris. I'm teaching the twins kasi to sing the "Lupang Hinirang" (Philippine National Anthem) and I'm playing the song via Youtube. And here is the screen capture of the part wherein Jose Rizal fell down the ground which Chris was imitating...

Amazing right?

But wait, there's more!

Me (deadma kuno sa PANDORA hat): Ano yun Ma?
Me: Kasi...

As in hindi ako makahinga at maluha luha pa ako sa katatawa.

I'm an Official Mommy Teacher

Finally, I can officially call myself a "Mommy Teacher"! We already enrolled the Kulilits at TMA Homeschool as Kinder 1 students.

Well, it's both nakaka-excite and nakakakaba at the same time. Nakaka-excite kasi totoo na ito. Lam niyo yun, may recording na and everything. Nakakakaba naman kasi may pressure na this time. I BELIEVE!!! Hahaha!

By the way, lam niyo ba, super nakakatuwa kasi nung time na nag-enroll kami nandoon din ang Liwanag family. Sila yung kasama namin sa Bet on Your Baby. They enrolled their twins also. What a small world ano?

Here are the photo of our twins...

Nag-ala Ninja Turtles sila. Hahaha!

Here naman are our books...

It comes with a teacher's manual naman. At least may guide ako.

I browsed it already. Medyo nasisindak ako kasi naprepressure ako. Ikaw ba naman ang hindi mapressure kapag sabihin sa iyo na ang assessment is after the 2nd quarter and after the 4th quarter only? Nakakakaba di ba? Pero, again, I BELIEVE!!! Kaya namin yan! =)

Anyway, last Saturday, we attended the first activity of TMA Homeschool which is their Christmas Party. Their theme is Christmas Through the Ages. Each level of homeschoolers performed.

Here are some of the pictures of the homeschoolers who performed...

Ang cu-cute nila ano? Aside from being cute, ang gagaling nila and performance level talaga sila lalo na yung mga higher level na homeschoolers. I can't wait na sumali ang mga Kulilits sa mga programs na gaya nito. I'm very sure na stage mom na stage mom ang peg ko pagdating ng araw na yun. Hahaha!

Aside from the homeschoolers, the TMA Homeschool staff and volunteers also performed...

O di ba, performance level din sila?

Super happy ako since we're part of another community which is the TMA Homeschool. I'm sure marami na naman akong makikilala and matututunan sa community na ito.

That's it! Wait and see na lang sa aming homeschooling adventures... =)

Halloween 2014

Haha! Just want to share lang po...

For this year's halloween, WALA LANG! As in walang ka-effort effort! Bakit kamo? (1) Tamadochi kasi ako that time. I'm asking and giving them suggestions kasi kung ano ang gusto nilang costume for the halloween, pero walang ibang gusto kundi ang kanilang Spiderman costume. Haaayssttt... Naalala ko tuloy yung last year (you can read it here) nung nagtantrums si Ian dahil ang gustong costume ay yung Spiderman.

Anyway, eto lang ang scenario namin that day...

As in bonding bonding lang ang mag-aama. Watching TV and reading books - as simple as that. =)

Then, my MIL called hubby. Kaya I searched for a halloween event and settled in going to Westgate na lang (our usual halloween destination).

So here are my little Spideys with their daddy...

For Christoff naman,  he used Ian's cowboy costume...

As usual, there is a magic show at Westgate...

Here are my boys watching the magic show...

There are also games there, wherein the Kulilits joined one of the games...

After the event at Westgate, we ate dinner at BBQ Chicken and Beer in Molito. Sakto din kasi may halloween event din doon. Kaso lang, mas for my hubby yung event dahil rock band lang ang meron...

So while hubby is enjoying the rock band, kami naman ng mga Kulilits, nag-enjoy sa kulitan and habulan sa may grass area...

As in, takbo dito, takbo doon, tumbling dito, tumbling doon, gulong dito, gulong doon at kung ano ano pa! Pati kamo ako, nagtanggal ng aking shoes at nakilaro sa kanila. Ang sarap lang ng feeling to be carefree that night. Ang sarap lang talaga maging BATA!

Here are my boys enjoying the grass...

Here is also a video of the Kulilits that night...

Ang saya nila sobra ano? PRICELESS! I just let them be. Bata eh! =)

Yan ang happenings namin last halloween. Hopefully next year, mapaghandaan ulit namin...

Kulilits Moments: On Yakult, Paper and Dog

Ang tagal na since the last time I wrote about my conversations with the twins. Here are some few that I would like to share.

Scenario 1: For the Sake of Yakult

Yesterday, my son, Chris, woke up with an ouchie tummy...

Chris: Mommy, my tummy is ouchie.
Me: Oh baby, you're tummy is ouchie. Come here let me kiss your tummy.

after kissing his tummy...

Me: Go drink a Yakult. That will help you remove your ouchie.

after saying that...

Ian: Mommy, my feet are aching. I need to drink Yakult.
Me (smiling): Come here baby, let me kiss your feet then you drink your Yakult too.

After Ian drank his Yakult, I talked to him and told him that he doesn't need to pretend just to ask for a Yakult, what he needs to do is just ask me.

Scenario 2: Pilosopong Chris

Earlier during our homeschool session...

Me: Chris, can you read this to me please. What is this?
Chris (referring to what I'm holding): Paper!

What is this kasi ang tanong ko eh. Hahaha! Sobrang mga pilosopo and minsan niloloko ako while we are homeschooling.

Speaking of being pilosopo and maloko, kanina rin may ganito kaming conversation...

Scenario 3: I Don't Know

While making them read dog (which I know they know)...

Me: Spell this out Chris...
Chris: D...O...G... DA-O-GA...
Me: So how do you read it?
Chris (with his naughty grin): Hmmmmm....
Me (giving a clue): What is Pawie?
Chris: Pawie is an animal!
Me: So, what kind of animal is Pawie?
Chris (saying it with a tune): I DON'T KNOW!!!
Me: Oh, Pawie is a CAT!
Chris: No! Pawie is not a cat mommy. He is a DOG!
Me: See! I knew it! You silly Chris!

Ang kulit lang talaga di ba?

I really love my boys! They are so fun to be with. Hinding hindi ako maiinip when I'm with them.

Kids will be Kids and Boys will be Boys

Having kids at home is a real mess and that is normal. What do you think if all of those kids are BOYS? I think you call it a DISASTER!!!

Well, yan ang itsura ng house namin ngayon. Para kamong laging dinadaanan ni Yolanda. As in!!!

Like for example, itong reindeer basket ko, binali nila ang sungay...

Kaloka talaga! Matanda pa sa kanila yan eh. Buti na lang at may pagka-MacGyver ako. Ginamitan ko ng toothpick. Tadaaaa...

Then, ang wall namin... Ayan, ginawa na namang malaking blackboard...

Imagine, 2 months palang kaming nakalipat, nabinyagan na! Good thing at na-experience ko na yan sa dati naming house which I blogged here. I used WD-40 to clean it. Effective talaga, in fairness, good as new na siya.

And lastly (this will really gross you out), do you know what are these?

Yes, hindi kayo namamalikmata. Those are boogers on the wall. In Tagalog, KULANGOT SA PADER!!! I sent this exact picture to my hubby thru Viber. Hahaha!

Kids talaga... Nakakainis na nakakatuwa di ba?
