Family Sunday Lunch at Shi Lin

Last Sunday after going to S&R, we went to Alabang Town Center (ATC) to eat lunch at Shi Lin. Shi Lin, for me, is the Philippine version of Din Tai Fung. Din Tai Fung, by the way, is a famous restaurant in Taiwan which is known for their signature Xiao Long Bao (steamed dumplings).

Here is the facade of Shi Lin at ATC...

Inside the restaurant, like Din Tai Fung, there is also a see-through kitchen where you can see how each dumpling is carefully prepared.

Here is the restaurant's interior. You can see that a lot of people are eating there...

We ordered the following:

House Tea...

P88.00

Fresh Taiwanese Tofu...

P128.00

Stir Fry Taiwan Spinach...

P140.00

Shrimp and Pork Wonton Soup...

P165.00

Noodles with Shrimp and Pork Wonton...

P188.00

Xiao Long Bao (6pcs)...

P148.00

Fried Chicken Chops...

P195.00

Mushroom and Vegetable Dumplings (6pcs)...

P158.00

and Seafood Omelette...

P88.00

Note: The price indicated above is not inclusive of 5% service charge.

Overall, we had a great dining experience at Shi Lin. The service is fast and they are very attentive to our needs. The food is served hot and delicious. According to hubby, the taste of the Xiao Long Bao is almost the same as the original in Taiwan. The quantity of food served is generous enough which just right for the price. Would you believe that our total bill is only P1,338.07 (net of Senior Citizen discount)?
