SWAG: Papaya & Broas

Thank you to the very appreciative patients of my hubby! Hehehe...

2 humongous papayas from a patient at Sta. Rosa Hospital and Medical Center...

Delicious broas from a patient at Medicard Philippines Head Office...

DISASTER talaga!!!

Anyway, I think he is just curious and an explorer at the same time. Hehehe... =)

A Night at Bellevue Hotel (A Super Late Post)

One Tuesday, sabit na naman kami ng mga kulilits to the pharmaceutical event that my hubby attended kaya we checked-in at Bellevue Hotel.

Here are some of the pictures of our room:

The king size bed...

The closets...

The welcome fruit basket...

The corner chair...

The work area...

The bath tub (the kulilit's favorite area)...

The wash area...

The shower area...

The toilet...

The view from our room where you can see Filinvest Corporate City...

The drawer which contains complementary beverages...

The drawer which contains snacks for sale...

So what did I and the kulilits do while waiting for hubby? Well, as usual, nagswimming lang naman kami the whole afternoon.

Here are some of the pictures I took at the swimming pool. Actually, ako ang kinakabahan sa kanila that time. I told them na sa sides lang sila and hawak lang sila sa gutter ng pool. Pero ang lalakas ng loob. They were so adventurous that they tried to walk in the middle of the pool.

And since bitin sila sa swimming pool. I actually videoed them and shared it na rin in this blog (you can view it here).

Here are some of their pictures at the bath tub...

O di ba? Nagstay lang kami sa Bellevue para lumangoy!!!

Kulilits Video: Rippin' The Dance Floor

We attended my dad's company Christmas Party last December 22. And guess who ripped up the dance floor? Of course, the kulilits!

Dinner at Gotti's Ristorante + MOA Eye

Last Saturday, there was a sudden plan to go to MOA. Trip trip lang to meet up with my brother-in-law and his wife (Kuya Bimbo and Ai). They went kasi to World Trade Bazaar.

When we arrived at MOA, hubby and I looked first for a place to eat. We found Gotti's Ristorante. We browsed first at their menu and it seemed delicious and affordable naman kaya gora kami.

Here are what we ordered:

Dirty Fingers - The kulilits loved these. Masarap naman talaga kasi. Very tasty and juicy at the same time.

Mi Mama's Quattro Formaggi - This pizza is highly recommended. Sarap talaga! Lasang lasa yung different kind of cheese sa pizza.

Mushroom Bruschetta - This is one of their bestsellers. I ordered this because it was on the menu that they use fresh mushrooms daw (since I'm a fan of fresh mushrooms).

Ceasare - This was ordered by Kuya Bimbo. I didn't try this one since hindi ko feel ang salad that time.

Here are my kulilits ready to attack the food na...

Total damage is only almost P1,000.00. Puwede na di ba, ang dami namin inorder tapos may 2 bottomless iced tea pa kami.

After dinner, we decided to stroll a bit inside the mall. Then sinuggest ko na we try the MOA eye. Ang tagal ko na kasi nakikita yung giant ferris wheel pero we haven't tried to ride it. P150.00 per head ang cost ng ticket and children less than 2 years are not free.

Our experience at MOA eye is very memorable because of the good company and higit sa lahat na-enjoy kasi sobra ng mga kulilits. Nakakatuwa kasi they are not scared of heights and sobrang aliw na aliw sila sa mga nakikita nila.

Here is our family picture inside the gondola...

Hehehe.

Hoping to have more adventures with my hubby and the kulilits soon...

Fitflop Rock Chic

We went to the Fitflop Boutique at SM Southmall this afternoon and we saw this beautiful footwear...

photosource

It is a Rock Chic model which is made with CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements. It is a limited model wherein there are only 30 pairs of these in the Philippines.

No, no, no muna sa ngayon kasi nagagasgas, nalalaspag at pwede pang maiwan kung saan saan.

How about you guys, what do you think?

Papa G's Birthday Celebration at Sambokojin

We celebrated my father's birthday at Sambokojin in SM Southmall last Sunday. Naging favorite resto na namin ito since we tried it. Very affordable naman kasi and ang daming choices eh.

Here is the facade of Sambokojin.

Here is their menu board which contains the pictures of the food that you can see inside the resto and the price per head.

Here are some of the pictures that I took inside. Sorry kung medyo konti na lang ang food kasi malapit na ang closing when we ate there eh.

Their assorted sushi... Hehehe. Ang dami talagang assortment ng sushi nila. And take note, may uni sila ha.

Yakiniku ingredients...

Tempura selections...

Salad...

Desserts... Don't try their cakes. Hindi masarap for me, they are dry.

The birthday celebrant...

Kita naman sa face ng dad ko na he is happy di ba? Mukha bang 58 na yan? Mukha lang forties di ba?

The kulilits with their Tito Ninong Paolo. Sobrang hyper nila that time.

That's all folks!

Usapang Mag-Asawa: Doc Padu and the Fat & Thin Chicken Longganisa

I just want to share you a funny story that happened last night.

A short background muna...

Since July 2012, I'm not buying pork and beef anymore. As much as possible vegetables lang talaga kami and paminsan minsan chicken and fish. Kaya pag nasa in-laws or sa parents ko kami kumakain, praise the Lord lagi si hubby aka Doc Padu. In short, namumula hasang niya. Hehehe...

So back to my story...

Me: O bakit?
Doc Padu: Anong bakit?
Me: Bakit ganyan ang itsura mo?

O see! Hehehe...

CSR: Tinolang Manok

Hi guys! Here is my simple recipe for the week: Tinolang Manok...

Ingredients:

Garlic (crushed)
Onion (minced)
Ginger (cut into strips)
1/2 Kg Chicken (chopped)
3 pcs Sayote (sliced) -  or unripe papaya
Malunggay Leaves - or spinach or dahong sili
Water
Salt
Fish Sauce (optional)

Procedure:

1. Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Clockwise: onion, ginger & garlic

Sayote

Malunggay Leaves

Chicken

2. Saute garlic, onion and ginger.

3. Put in the chicken until the chicken's natural oil comes out. You can add the fish sauce at this stage so that the flavor can sink in the chicken.

4. Put in water and add salt to taste.

5. Once the soup is boiling, add in the sayote.

6. When the sayote is already cooked, you can add in the malunggay leaves.

7. Simmer it a bit and it is ready to serve!

Happy eating guys!

Chillax Mode at Tagaytay Highlands

We stayed at Tagaytay Highlands for two nights to celebrate our Lola's 81st birthday...

Our happy Nanay Anding

Supposedly buong Garcia clan ang kasama. Unfortunately, di magkatugma tugma ang mga schedules namin since some of my cousins have classes that time. Chillax and bonding mode lang kami dito.

We stayed at Pinecrest Village...

Here is the view from our unit. In fact, I saw some shooting stars in our first night.

Nagvideoke ang mga maglololo during our 2nd night. With matching dance pa yan ha...

Papa G with the Kulilits

We went around Tagaytay Highlands on our 3rd day na. We had some souvenir photos taken. Kainis lang kasi against the sun kaya hindi masyadong nakita ang view.

Here's our almost matinong family picture...

My sweet mom and dad.

We rode the Funicular Train to Midlands. Enjoy na enjoy ang mga kulilits...

We were suppose to go the mini zoo after kaso lang medyo late na kaya we decided to go home na lang.

That's our relaxing mini-vacation at Tagaytay Highlands. Nakakarefresh kasi pahinga lang talaga kami. =)
