S&R September 2013 Member's Treat

Hehe.

After our 11:00am service at VCF, we went straight to S&R. We had our lunch there na rin. Magkakasama kami lahat pati yung brother ko and his GF. Then after eating, umalis na rin kaagad si hubby because he needs to bring the car to the gasoline station for change oil and he needs to go rounds pa.

Para kamong end of the world na sa dami ng tao and haba ng pila sa S&R. Kaya ang naging siste namin is si Papa G na lang ang nagtiyaga sa pila while all of us went around to shop. Hehe.

Me: Gusto mo po dagdagan daddy?
Papa G: Deadma
Me: Ano po dad, sasama mo na rin ba yung sa akin?
Papa G: Sige na nga.

In short, nalibre ulit ako ni daddy. Hehehe.

Here is Papa G very happy spending for us...

Here are the items that Papa G bought.

And here are our shopping loots...

Ang the best purchase for the Kulilits here is the Step 2 Sketch & Store Easel. Remember, I'm wishing before na sana magkaroon sila ng Crayola Blackboard/White Board in preparation for their homeschool? At least this one is cheaper kasi yung Crayola is around P4k ata as far as I remember. =)

How about you?

Amazon Shopping

Christmas is near and malapit lapit na naman ang pagkabit ng mga Christmas decors dito sa bahay. At dahil diyan, pati ang mga plates, flatwares and drinking glasses namin change to something Christmas din. Ang arte lang di ba? Hehe. =)

I have an existing Spode Christmas Tree flatware set for 4. Since soon, there will be another addition to our family, I need to buy an additional set.

Here is the design of my Spode Christmas Tree flatware...

Photosource

Unfortunately, when I tried to search at Amazon, Spode doesn't have that design already. They changed their flatware na with an embossed design.

Kaya I have no choice. With my husband's approval, I bought this...

Photosource

Good thing about this new flatware set is that it's good for 8 pax na and may serving set na rin na kasama.

What to do with my existing flatware set?

Hmmm... Either I'll sell it na lang or wait na lang ako na ipamana sa akin ng mom ko yung sa kanya since we have the same Spode Christmas Tree flatware design. Hehe.

Aside from the Spode Christmas Tree flatware, I bought na rin additional set of 4 Spode Christmas Tree wine glasses...

and additional set of 4 Spode Christmas Tree high ball drinking glasses...

Good thing that Spode didn't change the design of their Christmas glasses coz' if they changed it, patay ako. Hehe.

Kaya when hubby arrived home...

Me: Be, may kasalanan ako sa iyo...
Doc Padu: Ano yun?
Me: Guess kung magkano inabot?
Doc Padu: P2,000.00?
Me: Ha? Anong P2,000.00!? Almost P10,000.00 kaya!
Doc Padu (in shock): P10,000.00???
Me: Oo.

How about you guys, how do you prepare your house for Christmas?

I Failed!!!

I knew it! I knew it!

I wasn't surprised at all when I saw my OGCT results. My GCT is 8.2 and it is HIGH! Haaayyysssttt... Ewan ko ba at during this pregnancy super hilig ko and nagcracrave ako ng sweets.

Since ako ay isang taong praning, I started to read about high OGCT results. Medyo kinakabahan ako kasi possible na I have gestational diabetes and I have to undergo OGTT pa to verify it.

I even asked hubby to ask my OB if ok lang mag OGCT na lang ulit ako pero maglilinis muna ako ng dugo ko (will cut sweets). Kahit yung OB friend namin tinanong ko about a repeat OGCT.

So from now on, di na ako kakain ng matatamis! I'm planning to have my OGTT on Tuesday and hopefully I'm negative of GDM (Gestational Diabetes Mellitus).

Please pray for me guys. =)

OGCT Day

I had my OGCT done today. Hay naku, ang asawa ko ginutom ako!!! Sabi I need to fast daw for 6 to 8 hours before my lab exam. Eh after lunch ako pupunta sa Hi Precision para siguradong walang pila, kaya ayun my last meal was at 6:30am pa.

I arrived at Hi Precision at around 1:45pm. I asked the staff about the fasting thing. Nagulat sa akin dahil I shouldn't have fasted daw. Yung OGTT daw yung may fasting. She asked me if I wanted to eat muna raw pero after an hour pa raw ma-start yung procedure in case na kumain ako. Since I don't want to waste time, sabi ko proceed na kami dahil okay pa naman ako.

After waiting for few minutes, a staff called me na to drink something. Orange flavored drink siya na may 50g of glucose. She told me that I need to drink it within 5 minutes. Since the drink is cold and masarap naman plus the fact na I'm hungry na, I finished it within a minute. Hehe. After I finished the drink, she told me to wait for an hour before she extract blood from me pero within an hour bawal raw ako lumabas ng Hi Precision, bawal na kumain and uminom. Buti na lang at may free WIFI sila kaya kahit papaano di ako nainip sa paghihintay.

At around 3:05pm, she called me again so that she could extract blood na from me. Sabi niya hahanapin pa raw kasi niya yung ugat ko. In fairness ha, magaling yung med tech nila dahil nakita kaagad yung ugat ko and one shot lang. Dati kasi parang hirap na hirap hanapin yung ugat ko to the point na sa kamay ko nag-eextract ng blood.

So after my blood extraction, I was informed that I can get the results at around 10:00am the next day or I can view it already online at around 8:00pm.

After Hi Precision, I decided to go to S&R para magshop ng kaunti since they have an ongoing member's treat sale which started last September 25. Hehe. Then on the way also to S&R, nag-wet market na rin ako kahit papaano to buy some rice and vegetables.

Hehe.

I arrived at S&R at around 4:00pm. Wala nang masyadong pila for the push carts. Nakapasok ako kaagad. Yun nga lang when I got inside, parang kaunti na lang ang paninda. I was aiming to buy 5Kg Bio Zip detergent soap since mura siya and nag-s-stock talaga ako nun sa bahay. Unfortunately, out of stock na.

I had Iced Tea and Bavarian Churros. Yum! Yum! The Churros is freshly cooked kaya ang sarap kainin. =)

After eating, I went home na kaagad habang maaga aga pa para hindi ako maabutan ng masmatinding traffic.

Yummy wafer sticks...

Well, yan lang po mga napamili namin. =)

Ok rin communication with him dahil marunong mag-English.

Adventures in Bali: Day 4 + Estimated Travel Cost

It has been exactly one week since we arrived from Bali. Hehe.

Anyway, yung day 4 namin uwi lang talaga sa Pinas. Nothing special happened. Except for the fact na nabigla kami when we got to the airport dahil we need to pay pa pala for something there. Parang processing fee ata yun. It's around 150,000 Rupiah for each passenger. Well, lesson learned yun sa akin. Hehe.

Here are some of the pictures from Kuya Bimbo's camera for our day 4...

On our way inside the airport...

Di mawawala ang picture taking inside the airplane...

Adventures in Bali: Day 3

Our day 3 in Bali is actually our free day. Like what I've said before, relax relax lang kami for this day.

I'm expecting to wake up late this time since we have to wait for the Kulilits to wake up. But...but...but... Ang aga nilang nagising! Sabay banat sa akin ni Chris "Mommy, I'm hungry!" So we freshened up a bit then went to the restaurant to eat our breakfast.

Ian

Chris

After breakfast, nagbabad na kami sa pool until around 12:00nn. Tirik na tirik ang araw that time kaya ayan nagmukha tuloy akong ulikba. Hehe. Si Ai hindi nag-swim. Ika nga nila Kuya Bimbo, nag-shade bathing siya. Takot kasi araw eh. Hehe!

Pagkatapos namin mag-swim, pahinga lang saglit sa room namin then we went down na to wait for the 2:00pm shuttle going to Bali Collection.

Here we are waiting for the hotel's shuttle service to arrive...

Me and my Kulilit Chris...

Kape't Gatas - Ai & Me...

Puro signature kasi eh. Haha!

Here are some of our pictures taken around the Bali Collection...

Nice balete tree...

Then we had some gelato...

Then we went to Starbucks to rest and magpalamig. Hehe. =)

At 4:00pm, the shuttle picked us up at Bali Collection then we went to the Nusa Dua beach.

At the beach, hanggang pampang lang kami. May duwagis este KJ kasi kaming kasama eh. Hehe. Pinagbawalan kami mag-swim dahil malakas daw ang alon at baka daw matangay kami. Boo! =(

The Ayodya Beach Resort...

After going to the beach, we walked na lang going to the restaurant where we are going to eat. At siyempre di mawawala ang picture picture all around...

Then we finally arrived at Ulam Balinese & Seafood Restaurant...

Around the restaurant...

Ai and I checking out the restaurant's menu...

Here are the food that we ordered:

Nasi goreng with assorted satay...

Ayam Satay (chicken)...

Raja Bali platter...

T-bone steak...

Fries & veggies that came with the T-bone steak...

Here is our group picture (Chris is sleeping)...

After dinner, we went back to the hotel. Iniwan ko lang saglit ang kambal kay hubby because I went out again to buy food for the Kulilits since tulog si Chris during dinner while Ian naman had topaski. =) Then when I came back to our room, ako na ang tumoka sa mga Kulilits dahil nag-night swimming sila hubby, Kuya Bimbo and Ai.

That summed up our day 3 in Bali...
