Easter Sunday: Surprise Birthday Lunch For Kuya Bimbo

Last Easter Sunday, we had a surprise birthday celebration for my brother-in-law, Kuya Bimbo, at Tokyo Bubble Tea and Restaurant - Westgate Branch. I suggested the place to Ai (Kuya Bimbo's wife) since mukhang masarap ang food as I mentioned in my previous blog post.

Ai and I conspired on doing this surprise lunch. She gave me the materials to be used (masks and magic candles) and she told me na ako na ang bahala sa mga yun. The initial plan is that we'll be staying at the 2nd floor pero when we came there closed yung area. The staff told us that we could be able to use the area as long as we consume P700.00 per person. Ano kaya yun? Super mahal di ba? As if naman lalamon kami. Anyway, I instructed Ai to inform us na lang if they are already at the parking so that we could hide sa 2nd floor then from there bababa kami ng stairs holding the cupcakes with lighted candles while singing a birthday song for Kuya Bimbo.

Ok naman yung plan pero muntik nang sumablay dahil they parked infront of the restaurant and kitang kita kami sa loob. Buti na lang Ai convinced Kuya Bimbo na namamalik mata lang siya. Hehehe.

Lemme show you the photos that day. Ready?

And for our dessert, we got some milk teas such as Royal Milk Tea, Honey Dew Melon Milk Tea and Chocolate Milk Tea.

The food did not fail us. Masarap lahat and they served it hot. The serving is big also as opposed to what the waiter told us na good for 2 lang ang bawat order. I find the price inexpensive since the serving is big. Ang medyo sablay lang for me is their service. Medyo mabagal ang dating ng food. Mukhang nabigla ata sa amin sa dami ng inorder namin. Hehehe.

Pero overall, satisfied naman ang tummies namin. Hehehe. We'll definitely go back there and eat more Takoyaki!
