Adventures in Bali: Day 2

For our day 2 in Bali, we had the Kintamani Tour. It's a whole day tour wherein we had a natural experience of Bali.

First, we went to Batubulan Village to watch the Barong and Keris Dance.

Hubby with the Kulilits. As usual, they are drinking their favorite choco milk drink...

Group picture (Ian is not looking at the camera because he is scared of the costume)...

After watching the Barong and Keris Dance, we went Batuan to check on batik making, weaving and painting.

Then we went to Celuk for the silver crafting...

After Celuk, we went to the Monkey Forest. Nakakatakot lang at baka hawakan nila yung mga monkeys kasi the tour guide warned us not to touch the monkeys since they are biting daw.

Then we passed by Tegallalang where Bali's rice terraces are located. I could say na iba pa rin talaga ang rice terraces natin sa Benguet. =)

After Tegallalang, we went to Kintamani where you can view Mt. Batur, Bali's active volcano, and the lake beside it.

At Kintamani, it's like you are in Tagaytay. Presko and malamig! We had our super duper late lunch na rin there. Buffet ang food dun kaya very happy si hubby.

Our second to the last stop is at the coffee plantation. I wasn't able to go to this tour because one of the Kulilits is sleeping. Nagpaiwan na lang kami sa car. But here are some photos taken by Kuya Bimbo and hubby...

And for our last stop, we went to Kehen Temple...

You need to wear a sarong whenever you go inside a temple in Bali as a sign of respect. That time, our tour guide just brought with him 2 sarongs that's why he went out for a while to borrow another 2. While we were waiting for our tour guide to come back, there is this makulit na Balinese na alok ng alok sa amin ng sarong. Super kulit, buy sarong from her na lang daw. So we said no. Eh natiyempo na umaambon nung time na yun, biglang inabutan niya ng payong si hubby. Use her umbrella raw then sabay sabi na naman na buy sarong from her after namin pumunta sa temple.

After namin libutin yung temple, nauna na akong bumaba. Sabi ko I won't buy from her because I won't be able to use it in the Philippines. Sabi ko rin na I'll wait for our tour guide. Hehe.

Hehe.

Medyo matagal tagal din ang kwentuhan. As usual, madaling araw na naman natapos. Ok lang naman kasi magpuyat that night since relax relax na kami the following day.

Well, that's our 2nd day in Bali. I hope you enjoyed my kwento. =)
