Extraordinary Saturday

My Saturday last February 9 is kinda extraordinary. The initial plan is just to go to Makati with my mom and the kulilits to pay for my mom's HMO membership. From one lakad, naging five lakad.

Lakad No. 1 - Makati Cinema Square

Maybe you are wondering what the hell are we doing in an old mall. Well, we just went there to eat lunch.

Emers is an old restaurant that is known for their affordable and delicious Chinese food.

The restaurant's facade...nothing has changed...

The restaurant's interior. Sobrang old na di ba?

Here are what we ordered.

Camaron...

Lomi (A must try!)...

Fish fillet with corn and crab sauce...

My mom ordered also a bowl of Nido soup which I forgot to take a picture of. Sowee...

After lunch, we went to the electronics section kasi nagbilin si hubby to look for a turntable. When we went there, nalula ako sa dami - both brand new and second hand.

Lakad No. 2 - Caritas Healthshield, Inc.

Eto ang primary lakad namin. My mom paid the renewal of her membership there. As usual, pinagkaguluhan ang mga kulilits doon.

Lakad No. 3 - Greenbelt 5

Ikot ikot and inquire inquire lang kami doon.

May pagkasarcastic! Haaaysst!

Babalikan ko rin sila in due time. Hahaha!

Come merienda time, niyaya ko si madir magmerienda sa Toast Box...

My mom ordered a French Toast Set...

While I ordered Kaya Cream Cheese Toast Set with drink upgraded to Iced Milk Tea...

Lakad No. 4 - Festival Mall

After eating merienda, we went immediately to Festival Mall to attend the 5:00 p.m. service of Victory Christian Fellowship. My hubby went there also to attend the service with us.

Lakad No. 5 - SM Southmall

My mom attended both the 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. service. She attended the 7:00 p.m. service because she accompanied my dad. My dad told me that we'll eat out for dinner so he asked me to go to SM Southmall and look for a restaurant there.

Next naman is Tokyo Cafe. Kaya we ended up eating at Agave restaurant.

While waiting for my parents, nakipila muna ako sa Tous Les Jours kasi buy one take one na ang breads nila when the clock strikes at 9:00 p.m. I bought premium pan bread (I gave one to my parents), custard cream bread for the kulilits, sweet black rice bread with cream cheese and sweet black rice bread with black sesame cream cheese. Ang sarap ng breads nila. Very soft and chewy.

So back ulit tayo sa Agave... Agave is a newly opened restaurant at SM Southmall. They serve Mexican food.

The restaurant's facade (with Ian posing)...

We ordered the following:

Cheese Quesadillas...

Bean Burritos...

Steak Chimichanga...

Mexican Pizza...

and Sopa de Tortilla which I forgot (again) to take a picture of.

Kids eat for free at Agave! The twins got the following:

Agave Chicken Fingers for Ian...

Junior Cheeseburger for Chris...

The kulilits only ate the chicken fingers and fries. My mom was the one who ate their burger (akala niyo si hubby ano?).

The kulilits enjoyed eating there. Sarap atang kumain ng nakakamay. Hehehe...

After dinner, we went home na.

That's my extraordinary Saturday! =)
