Chezca's Post Birthday Celebration

Last January 20, we went to Robinson's Magnolia to celebrate my sister-in-law's (Chezca) birthday. The initial plan was to eat at Buffet 101. Kaya ayun, we went to Gumbo instead...

While waiting for our order, busy ang mga kulilits sa pagdraw...

while we munch on this complimentary bread...

Then our order arrived...

New England Clam Chowder: Cream-based soup with fresh Pacific clams and potatoes in a whole wheat bread bowl. This is supposedly for the twins kaso they don't like it. Busog pa siguro kasi they had Gong Cha Wintermelon Tea.

For our appetizer, we had Jumbo Onion Rings which is served with tartar sauce.

Jumbo Onior Rings

Quattro Formaggio which is composed of mozarella, parmesan, cheddar and bleu cheese. This is really good pero mas ok sana if it is thin crust.

Quattro Formaggio

Family Feast: A combination of honey-glazed chicken, Bourbon-style barbecue ribs, batter coated cream dory and shrimp kebabs which is served with grilled skewered veggies.

Family Feast

Shrimp Aglio Olio: Fresh shrimps with spaghetti pasta in olive oil and garlic.

Grilled Pork Chops: Tender pork chops, marinated with special seasoning and spices and grilled to perfection. A girl gave me a coupon that is why we got this for free.

For our dessert, we went to Magnolia Flavor House...

While waiting for our seat, as usual, naglikot na naman ang mga kulilits...

Sudden Change of Plans

Yesterday, I got a surprise sms from hubby. He got an invite from a certain pharmaceutical company to attend to their event at Panglao, Bohol from February 1 to 3.

At first, hindi ako go sa idea since birthday ng mga kulilits on February 1 and we have a small family dinner scheduled also that time. I mentioned it to  Mama G and she told me na it is alright if we go kasi sayang naman daw and we could resched na lang the dinner. Kaya ayun, I asked hubby to confirm if he is allowed to bring a companion. So pinatanong ko if we could bring the twins with us and we'll be the one to shoulder their airfares na lang. Yipee!!!

Excited much talaga ako for the kulilits.

No More Feeding Bottles for the Kulilits

It's official guys! The kulilits don't drink milk from the feeding bottle anymore! Sobrang saya ko, promise!!! For me kasi, achievement yan not only for the kulilits but sa akin din.

Walang kahirap hirap ang shift from the feeding bottle to glass sa kanila. Two times a day na lang kasi sila nagdridrink ng milk eh, so I just tried last Monday night to feed them milk using a glass sabay kausap sa kanila...

Me: Boys, from now on you'll be drinking your milk using a glass ha.
Kulilits: Okay...
Me: Very good babies...

They drank naman the milk from the glass and hindi na nanghingi ng feeding bottle nung sleeping time na. Sa sobrang happy ko that night, I showed them how proud I am to them.

Me: Look boys, since you are drinking your milk from the glass na, you'll no longer use your feeding bottle ha. Kaya throw na natin all of these ha...

Then I pretended to throw their bottles to the trash can. Then sabay sabi nila na...

Kulilits: Drink milk...glass...dede, la na!

So that's it, tuloy tuloy na ang pagdrink nila ng milk using a glass.

Me: Babies, where are your bottles?

Tapos meron akong kilala mga around 7 years old na, nagbobottle pa.

Kaya ako ngayon no more worries masyado sa kanilang teeth. Alagang alaga ko kasi teeth nila dahil natatakot ako baka maging black teeth and sungki.

They are eating a lot na naman eh and mag 2 years old na rin sila sa February 1 kaya puwede na. Di rin biro ang formula ha. Almost one thousand ang isang box. Tapos dalawa silang umiinom. Imagine niyo na lang kung ilang box ang nako-consume nila in a month. Masakit talaga sa bulsa, promise!

That's it guys, balitaan ko na lang kayo soon...

So ayun na nga, I need to go to SM para mapapalitan ko ng SM Gift Pass ang mga charge slips ko. Pero I have one big problem. That is I need to go to SM Southmall with the kulilits (knowing na I don't have a yaya to bring with me and knowing them na ginagawang huge playground ang Southmall every time we go there). Pero malakas talaga ang fighting spirit ko kaya tinuloy ko pa rin ang pagpunta sa mall since it's one tricycle away lang naman from our house.

But...but...but... may ganito munang eksena sa bahay bago kami umalis...

Me: Come here boys, I need to talk to you first before we go to SM.
Ian and Chris: Both sat on the chair and listened to me.
Me: Boys, we will go to SM but you'll promise me one thing ha. You'll behave there since we don't have anybody to go with us...
Ian and Chris: Okay...
Me: No running around and you'll just hold mommy's hand ha...
Ian and Chris: Okay...
Me: You promise mommy or else we will not go to SM anymore...
Ian and Chris (doing a promise sign): Okay...

So ayun, lumarga na kaming mag-iina. Haaayyyssstttt. Pero I talked to them and reminded them about their promise. Buti at nakinig. Hahaha.

So we rode a tricycle going to Southmall. Enjoy na enjoy nila ang ride promise! Behave naman sila at naglakad with me. They even went up and down the overpass. Hehehe.

Inside Southmall, we saw this e-vehicle service and nag-joy ride muna kami around the mall. Unfortunately, out of stock ang hundreds nila na giftpass and next week pa magiging available kaya fail ang lakad namin. Since malapit na magfade yung charge slips ko, I told the staff na lagyan ng note na i-aaccept pa rin kahit maging unreadable na. She is nice naman and nilagyan ng note with signature yung back part ng charge slips ko. She even informed me na puwede ko ipakuha na lang sa ibang tao yung gift pass para hindi na ako mahirapan.

After that, we went to Tous le Jours to inquire if puwede nilang lagyan ng writing yung cake (I'm planning kasi to buy a cake there for the kulilit's birthday on Friday). Then, we saw the e-vehicle again and rode it going to the other side of the mall. Lunch na rin kasi and I still have some charge slips good to claim solo meals from Kenny Rogers. So there we went to Kenny Rogers to eat lunch.

Here are the kulilits on high chairs...

And here are our free solo meals c/o Standard Chartered Bank...

After lunch, I decided to go home already since malapit na ang sleeping time ng mga kulilits.

And oh, by the way, we got these coupons from Jollibee and Mc Donalds at the mall:

From Jollibee...

Jollibee Tipid Card

Coupons attached to the Jollibee Tipid Card

From Mc Donalds (they are not using ampao anymore for their coupons)...

Mc Donalds Coupon Envelope

Mc Donalds Coupons

That's it! Time to sleep now...
