Adventures in Marinduque: Bellarocca Island Part 1

The travel time from Balanacan Port to Bellarocca's Jetty Port in Lipata, Buenavista is about 2 hours. But it took us more than 2 hours to arrive in Lipata because we stopped over first at Boac to eat our late lunch.

We arrived at Bellarocca's Jetty Port past 4:00pm already.

We rode a speed boat going to Bellarocca Island (formerly Elephant Island). The travel time is only about 5 minutes.

When we arrived at Bellarocca Island, we went first to their receiving area.

Then we rode a golf cart going to the hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed by the whole hotel team. As in lahat nag-introduce sa amin. Hehe. Anyway, they served us a very refreshing and delicious pandan juice (sayang nga at hindi ko nakunan ng picture). Guess what? I asked the restaurant how much yung pitcher ng pandan juice, muntik na akong mahulog sa upuan when they said na P900.00 daw. Anuvayan! Hehe.

We were briefed also about the house rules of the resort. They made it short na kasi halatang pagod na pagod kami sa biyahe.  After the briefing, they finally escorted us to our rooms.

We got 2 hotel rooms. One for my parents and one for my family and my brother. Same lang naman ang room except na may extra bed yung room namin for my brother.

Let me tour you inside our room.

Here is the view of the inside from the door...

There is a personalized welcome letter for us...

The work and entertainment area...

The LCD and DVD player complete with amplifier. I tell you, ang bongga ng sound system nila! Digital surround! They have a collection of DVDs wherein you can borrow. My hubby and dad borrowed some nga eh. Haha!

The big bathroom:

With his and hers lavatory...

The room has its own balcony where you can have some muni muni time...

Ang nice ng hotel room ano? Very spacious kaya puwedeng puwede kayo maghabulan sa loob. Hehe. We got the deluxe hotel room kasi yun ang cheapest (Sabi naman sa inyo eh, mana mana lang yan. Like father, like daughter. Hahaha!). It's about P10,000.00/room/night. Actually, that's Bellarocca's promo rate pa because they are celebrating their 4th year anniversary. If you check their website, the published rate for the said room is $680.00. Yes, in dollars siya!

My parents and I, tumba kaagad sa pagod. Hehe. Tapos, hubby, the kulilits and my brother naman watched movies then maya maya tumba rin. As in hindi na kami nakapagdinner at kinabukasan na kami nagising! Hehe.

Yan ang first day namin sa Bellarocca Island. Literal na pahinga lang!
