Kulilits Video: Bath Time
This video was taken last Tuesday at Bellevue Hotel. This is what I'm talking about here when Chris and Ian said pututoy.
Lack of Blog Post/Super Late Blog Post
As much as I want to blog, hindi ko masyadong magawa dahil ang daming hindrances.
First, lack of time. I only get to blog at night kapag tulog na ang mga kulilits and finish ko na ang lahat ng chores sa house. That is around 11:00pm already. Nocturnal ang dating ko talaga kasi I get to sleep at around 2:00am na tapos I have to wake up early to prepare breakfast and my hubby's baon.
Second, internet speed.
Third, the need to resize the images to be used in my blog post. Eto ang pinakatoxic sa lahat. Nareach ko na kasi yung limit ko sa Picasa eh so I have to resize the pictures that I'll be using to meet the 800 pixels x 800 pixels na size.
I'll try my very best to catch up ha. =)

Kulilits Moments: Funny Words and Actions
Toddlers are like sponge absorbing every words, actions, mannerisms, values etc. that they hear and see. That is the reason why adults should watch the words they say or actions they do in front of their children.
Right now, I've been witnessing this "sponge" thing with my kulilits. Nakakatawa nga eh kapag bigla mong narinig or nakita sa kanila. Sobrang cute nilang tignan tapos lalo pa nilang sasabihin or gagawain kapag nakita nilang aliw na aliw ka.
Moment No. 1: In The Bathtub
While Ian and Chris are swimming in the bathtub, biglang nagsalita si Chris: "Pututoy...Pututoy..." Then Ian echoed: "Pototoy! Pototoy! Pototoy! Pototoy! Pototoy!"
Navideo ko ito. I'll share it to you one of these days.
Moment No. 2: The Buddha
In my bestfriend's house, Chris saw a Buddha and said: "Boobies! Boobies! Daddy! Daddy!"
Moment No. 3: Utot
Nung bigla akong nagfart (Hahaha...everybody farts naman di ba?), narinig ni Chris and biglang sinabi: "Pootut! Pootut!"
Moment No. 4: Poopoo
Chris pooped and said to me: "Pooput! Pooput! Ebak! Ebak!"
Moment No. 5: Dirt
So every time may napupulot sila inaabot nila sa akin sabay saying "Doyti! Doyti! Doyti! Yak! Yak!"
One time, Ian went to me and said "Mamits! Mamits! Yak! Yak!" then he handed to me the dirt that he picked up. Kadiri kaya! Poopoo ng butiki!
So ayan na lang muna, nagmemory gap ako eh. Pansin niyo si Chris ang maraming words? Masmadaldal kasi siya compared to Ian.

Kulilits Video: Chris on Videoke
We brought our Magic Sing Videoke at Tagaytay Highlands. Guess who kung sino ang bumangka? Natalo ni Chris si Papa G (who is the original Videoke bangkero). Hehehe.
Let me share you a short video of Chris singing...
So adorable right?
My Little Household Helpers
One good thing of not having a household help is that you'll be able to expose your child in doing household chores. Ika nga nila, leading by example. Actually, I'm very proud of my kulilits kasi hindi sila sakit sa ulo for me. At their age, they can already do the following:
The other day, natawa ako sa kanila kasi pilit na pinapakuha sa akin yung broom and mop. They'll help me clean the house daw. Sa akin naman, I let them help me kahit alam ko na di pa sila marunong. I know kasi that this would help them in the future. At least habang maaga, meron na silang sense of responsibility.
- Return their toys after playing with it
- Throw trash to the waste basket (ex. after drinking their Chuckie or Yakult, they throw the container to the trash can without me instructing them to do so)
- Whenever they see dirt on the floor, they immediately pick it up and give it to me/throw to the trash can
- Wipe off spilled liquid

I captured nga that moment eh. Nakakatawa pa kasi nag-aagawan sila. Gusto nila they'll use the broom and the mop at the same time.
Here is one of the pictures...
Hahaha. I just hope na lumaki silang masipag at marunong sa bahay.

Mama G's Laughtrip: Sablays in Tagaytay Highlands
We spent our weekend at Tagaytay Highlands and siyempre it was more fun because of my Mom's sablays. Hehehe. Let me share them to you guys...
Sablay #1: Hungarian Sausage
Mama G (referring to the T.J.
Hungerian Sausage ba yun?
Me (laughing): Ma, Hungarian hindi Hungerian.
Sablay #2: FB Hacking
While talking about the video of Chris during one of our learning sessions...
Papa G and Me: Laughed out loud
Sablay #3: Rice Cooker
There is no rice cooker sa unit na pinagstayan namin sa Highlands so we went to Handyman to buy one. Then pagbalik namin sa unit...
Mama G (to Nanay Anding): Nay, gutom na ba kayo? Nagmerienda ka ba habang wala kami?
Nanay Anding: Magsasaing nga sana ako kaso wala naman palang rice cooker dito.
Mama G: Kaya nga bumili ako ng washing machine eh!
Papa G and Me: Laughed out loud
Me: Ma, anong washing machine?
Mama G: Ay, rice cooker pala!
Sablay #4: Leopard Print
Sanay yung mga kulilits sa blanket kaya hindi makatulog without it. At highlands, 1 lang yung blanket na dala namin for the kulilits.
Sana hindi magbago yung texture pag nalabhan no Ma?
Me: Leotard? Leopard Ma!
Mama G (laughed at herself): Ay, leopard pala!

Smart Chris!
Grabe today ha. Ngarag ang beauty ko (Meron ba? Hahaha). Hindi tuloy ako nakapaligo kanina since I have to finish pa yung mga house chores. Bakit kamo? Happy lang ako kasi very good ang Chris ko kanina during our learning session. Si Ian naman, hindi masyado nakapagparticipate kasi he is sick right now kaya wala sa mood. Babawi na lang daw siya next time.
I want to share you a short video of Chris that I captured during our learning session this afternoon...
Ang smart niya no? Less than 2 years old lang sila! =)

Adventures in Taipei: Day 4
Day 4 is our last day in Taipei pero gala pa rin kami until the last minute since our flight is around 1:00 am pa the following day.
We walked to the underground mall. Sarado pa actually halos lahat ng stalls since maaga aga kami umalis from our hotel.
Here are some of the pictures of the underground mall...
We went to the Pacific Sogo Mall at the Zhongxiao Fuxing Station to shop (sana). Since it is lunch time already when we arrived there, we looked muna for a place to eat.
We saw Sharetea and we bought some milk tea.
Again, we ate at a noodle house. Na-enganyo kami kasi maraming kumakain eh. Kaso may problem kami when we went there. Hindi marunong mag-english yung mga tao dun. Hassle to the max ang pag-order namin. Imagine me going around asking people who are eating there to check what they ordered.
Here are what we ordered (imbento ko na lang ang names ha)...
Spicy beef noodle.
Vegetable Dumpling Noodle Soup for me...
Pork Rice with Egg for my brother-in-law...
In fairness, masarap talaga ang food nila and mura pa.
After we eat our lunch, nag-ikot ikot muna kami para bumaba yung kinain namin.
Then we went to the new Pacific Sogo Mall to continue our window shopping. Pero ang totoong nangyari ay food trip pa rin ang kinabagsakan namin since nakita namin na may branch pala dun yung Din Tai Fung which is famous for their Xiao Long Bao (Soup Dumpling).
There is this glass window where you can see how they make the dumplings.
We bought 2 sets to try...
In fairness, it tastes good talaga. Mukha ngang nabitin ang mga boys eh.
Then we went to the higher floor and we saw these...
A pet store who sells a lot of dog clothes and accessories. Ai bought here her pasalubong for baby Rico (her toy poodle).
There is a Zen garden also in that floor...
After that, we went to the supermarket at the ground floor. Ang saya saya dun. Lam niyo ba kung bakit? Kasi nakapagfood trip kami ng di oras. Ang dami kasing free taste eh. May wine, nuts, juice and Coffee. Yung coffee ang pinakana-enjoy nila ("nila" since I'm not a coffee drinker). Nagpasample kasi sila ng Nespresso machine. O di ba totsyal ang kanilang coffee. Hehehe.
After our trip to Pacific Sogo Mall, we went back to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Mall in Nanjin to buy my brother-in-law's Lacoste shoes. Sale kasi eh, as in sale ha.
Pero siyempre, sumegway muna kami ni hubby. We went to Mc Donalds first to eat some Taro Pie.
Sobrang na-addict ako dito. Ang sarap sobra eh. Ako pa naman ang tipong eat up to sawa kapag nagustuhan ko ang food.
See here?
After buying shoes, bumalik kami sa food street to eat dinner. Kami ni Ai craving for the deep fried taro balls. Hehehe...
Want some proof?
Pero it's worth the wait naman...
Here are the other pictures of what you can eat at the food street...
After dinner, time to relax naman kami. We had a foot therapeutic massage.
See our happy faces (except of course kay Kuya Bimbo na wacky palagi ang pose)?
After the massage, we went back to the hotel.
Nice wall decors ano? They are real plants by the way.
The duty free boutiques which are already closed that time. This made me sad talaga kasi I'm so looking forward to shop there pa naman. Pero ok din naman yung nangyari since we were able to shop sa Duty Free natin where my hubby bought my new baby which I mentioned here.
Somewhere, there is a showcase of cool saxophones...
So that's it! Finally, I was able to finish this blog series. Ano masasabi niyo sa trip namin? Puro kain ano? Hehehe.

Adventures in Taipei: Day 3
Most of the time, sa gabi lang ako nakakapagblog at sinisingit ko pa ito. Lam niyo na, no yaya/maid ngayon. So ako na ang dakilang muchacha/yaya! Hehehe.
Going back sa series, the places that we went to on our 3rd day in Taipei are:
Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA).
There are a lot of things that you can see outside MOCA. Sa labas pa lang dami na photos...
Here are some of the things that you can see inside MOCA...
After MOCA, we went to the nearest Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Mall in Nanjing to eat lunch. As usual, we ate noodles.
I had this seafood noodles...
While hubby had beef noodles...
After lunch, we headed to Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall. We went there via MRT.
Then we went to the Taipei's Museum of History. Ang haba ng lakad namin ha in order to go here pero sulit naman. We don't have any pictures inside kasi bawal magtake ng photos eh.
After the Museum of History, we rode a bus going to Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall. Good thing we rode a bus kasi parang nagtour na rin kami at the same time nakapagpahinga na rin since mahaba haba rin ang biyahe.
Sakto naman when we went there kasi nakapanuod kami ng changing of guards...
Our souvenir shot of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall...
Before going to our last stop, we went first to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Mall at Taipei Main Station to buy some pasalubong. We went actually to the grocery section. Hehehe. Ano ba mga nabili namin? All variants of Dr. Brown's Coffee for hubby, walang kamatayang noodles, mochi balls and marami pang iba.
After shopping for pasalubong, we searched na The Modern Toilet restaurant since we have an 8:00pm reservation there. Hehehe.
Finally, we arrived!
You can see here na ang dami naming inorder. Nagtaka nga yung waitress sa amin eh. Pero huwag ka, taob namin yan!
Then lastly, since it is our last night in Taipei, nagbeer ang hubby and brother-in-law ko and kami naman ni Ai ay nag-Yakult. Kung baga sa magkapatid, they won't leave Taipei without trying their local beer.
So that ended our 3rd day. Nakakapagod ano? Pero it's worth it naman kasi mission accomplished kami that day.
