Dinner at My Thai

One Saturday after Church, we ate dinner at My Thai. Thai food naman para maiba. Purgang purga na kasi kami sa Chinese and Japanese food eh. Hehehe.

My Thai is located at the 3F of Festival Mall. Actually, 3 restaurants siya in one location - My Thai, Pho Hoa and Jack's Loft. Kaya when you go there, aabutan ka ng 3 menu cards.

Here is the facade of the My Thai portion...

We ordered the following from My Thai:

Cha Yen (Thai Iced Milk Tea)...

Favorite ko ang Thai Iced Milk Tea. Gustong gusto ko yung pagka-woody flavor niya eh. Sayang nga dahil wala na sa S&R yung bottled Thai Iced Milk Tea.

Power Piet Tod Gai (Fried Spring Roll with Chicken and Noodle)...

Hoil Lai Pad Nam Prik Pao (Sauteed Clams with Chillies and Thai Basil)...

Pla Tod (Crispy/Fish Gingers with Green Chili Dip)...

Khau Pad Siam (Fried Rice Thai Style)...

Chicken Pad Thai Noodles...

Sarap talaga ng Pad Thai, promise! Eto ang favorite Thai food ko eh. Hehe. =)

From Pho Hoa, we got the Vegetarian Fresh Spring Roll...

We had a great dining experience here - good food with generous serving, reasonably priced, courteous waiter and fast service.

I have a tip: Dine in there when it's almost closing time. Since it's almost the restaurant's closing time when we got there, medyo naparami ang serving ng Pad Thai nila. According to the waiter kasi,  good for 1-2 persons yung isang serving kaya we ordered two. Pagdating ng order, ang dami, so we questioned the waiter. Hehehe.

Cheapipay Finds at Alabang Part 2

As early as last week, nag-eempake na ako for our Marinduque trip. Hindi ko na kasi maasikaso this week eh since I'll be super busy na. Since wala na akong kadamit damit, bumili na ako ng ilan last week (see my blog post here). Pero habang nag-eempake ako, mukhang wala pa rin akong maisusuot dahil ipinamigay ko na halos yung mga old clothes ko which dapat irereplace ko kapag nangayayat na ako. Eh ang kaso, na jontis na me, kaya malamang sa malamang next year na ulit.

Going back, since wala na talaga akong damit, I went back to Alabang the other day to buy more clothes. Binalikan ko na itong dalawa na ito:

Sleeveless dress for P400.00. Buti na lang at binalikan ko na lang kasi nung last na punta ko hanggang P450.00 lang daw from P500.00.

Sleeveless top for P100.00. Maganda siya in person. More on pang party nga ang dating, pero pwede rin naman gawing pang-casual lang.

Since may scarcity talaga ako sa damit na pang-alis, bumili na rin ako ng shirts for P150.00 each.

P800.00 lang lahat ang damage ko for all these items!

So yan lang po, ready to go na ako!!! Goodluck na lang talaga sa braso ko! Hehehe.

EGGZOITED!!!

Weeee!!!

I'm super mega overly excited to go to Marinduque with my family!

Guess what? We will go here...

Kulilits Moments: Pilyo Chris Part 2

In case you haven't read the part one, you can read it here.

Scenario 1: Hotdog

Nakita ni Chris yung hotdog ni Ian and he asked for it but Ian doesn't want to share his hotdog. Sobrang nakakaloko talaga yung itsura ni Chris that time.

Scenario 2: Sleepy Head

One evening, while the twins are drinking their milk, napahiga ang daddy nila and biglang napapikit. Tawang tawa talaga kaming mag-asawa that night. Ang loko talaga ng batang yan!

Scenario 3: Tulog Tulugan

Hehehe.

Gassed Up for Coke and Max's =)

That is may libreng 1.5L Coke whenever you gas up (see their promo here). At the same time, on-going din ang promo ng EastWest Bank for Max's Fried Chicken (see their promo in my blog here). Knowing me, I took advantage of those promos. Hahaha!

So eto na...

Scenario 1: Full Tank Didn't Reach P2,000.00

Hehehe.

Scenario 2: Natuyuan

Eto ang the best experience! Hehehe.

And for hubby, sobrang tawang tawa siya sa akin dahil sa ilang taon niyang minamaneho yung sasakyan niya, ngayon ko lang daw sinisi na walang warning sign yung gas niya. Hahaha.

Ano ang pinakahibang na experience niyo when it comes to availing promos? Share naman...

The Kulilit's Potty Training Update

Yey! At 2 years and 3 months, the kulilits no longer wear nappies on day time. I just let them wear their nappies during sleeping time at night and whenever we go out. That just means na menos na sa aming monthly budget ang nappies dahil average 2 nappies a day na lang ang gamit nila. =) Didiskartehan ko na lang on how do I train them not to pee in bed and I'll try na rin not to wear them nappies whenever we go out the house.

Ang galing talaga ng timing ano? Sabi ko nga kay hubby, sakto ang dating ng new baby namin kasi by that time, malamang hindi na nagdidiaper ang mga kulilits tapos yung milk nila ordinary milk na lang and bihira pa uminom dahil busog na sila sa table food.

I'm so lucky with the twins talaga. Kahit sobrang kukulit and harot, mababait naman sila and walang kaproble-problema sa pagtrain sa kanila.

Here in the house since alam nila na kaming 3 lang,  behave lang sila doing stuff while I'm doing the household chores. Tapos when we go out na 3 lang kami, well-behaved din. Lakad lang din sila and they listen to me when I say na "no carry ha".

Sa pagkain, lahat halos kinakain. They are not that picky. I don't cook separate meals for them kasi. Tapos, they eat on their own na rin. Kahit makalat, ok lang at least they learn how to eat on their own. At exactly 2 years old, no bottles na talaga sila which I shared in my blog post here.

When it comes to their toys and art materials, very neat yang mga yan. After playing, they help me keep their toys. After that incident, never na nilang inulit.

Parang napakadali kasi for me. Walang kahirap hirap dahil very cooperative sila sa akin.

How about you? How do you train your child? Care to share some tips?

WHOA!!!

I mentioned in my previous blog post??? Eto na... Eto na... Eto na ang pinaka-nakakastress sa lahat...

O di ba? Tumataginting!!! Nakakalula talaga! At eto pa, wala pa dito yung cost ng pagrepair ng kotse ni Doc Padu which is around 50k to 80k.

Anovayan!!!

Here are the lessons that I learned from this incident:

1. Be Grateful to God.

We are grateful to God because nothing serious happened to hubby.

2. Not to be Kuripot all the Time.

Being kuripot has its positive effects pero dapat hindi lahat ng bagay pinagkukuriputan. Like yung car insurance very important talaga. =(

3. Always Put Trust in God

God works in mysterious ways. Enough said.

4. This is a Test which Makes me a Better Person and Relationship with My Husband Stronger

Yung tipong paminsan minsan kailangan nating mauntog para matuto. Gets?

Even sa relationship as husband and wife, para itong storm na kapag nalakpasan namin, it will make our relationship stronger.

5. It is a Pruning or Purging Process by God

Sometimes we experience pruning or purging process because it signifies the providence of God, it increases the productivity God's people and it facilitates the purification of God's people.

Cheapipay Finds at Alabang

The other day, nagpasama sa akin ang bestfriend ko sa Alabang. She'll buy daw blouses for work and hindi raw niya maatim na bumili sa SM dahil sobrang mamahal daw ng mga damit doon. Lam mo naman kaming dalawa, mga kuripot! Hahaha!

Ok naman yung mga paninda nila and very cheap ha. And for P400.00, nakabili ako ng 2 tops and 1 shorts.

Floral sleeveless top for P150.00. Super like ko yung tela nito. Hehehe.

Sleeveless sando for P100.00.

Cotton shorts for P150.00. Love the texture of this shorts, lambot lambot! =)

Defensive? Hehehe.

Basta, happy na ako niyan dahil may new clothes na ako for a cheap price. =)

Kulilits Moments: Pilyo Chris

Between the two kulilits, Chris is the pilyo and vocal one. As in sobra! Pero kahit pilyo yan, he
never fails to make us laugh. Nakakatuwa kasi ang pagkapilyo eh. Lam niyo yun, yung parang tipong sinasadya niya dahil alam niya na naaaliw kayo sa kanya.

Scenario 1: Not in the Mood to Sing

Me: Chris, please sing the Alphabet Song, A...B...C...D...
Chris (talking fast and loud with matching head gestures): No ABCD!
Me: Ok. Just sing Row, Row, Row Your Boat.
Chris (talking fast and loud with matching head gestures): No Row, Row, Row Your Boat!

Ang kulit talaga kapag ginagawa niya ito. Natatawa nga lang kami eh.

Scenario 2: Making Faces

One day, Chris hit me with his hand...

Me: Chris, you're not suppose to hit mommy ok. That's not good. Don't do that again ok.

Me: I told you that hitting is not good. That's being disrespectful. One more and I'll spank you.

He thought na nagbibiro ako or he's testing my limit kaya he once again hit me.

Me: That's it! I told you not to hit mommy di ba? Dapa!

Dumapa naman and I hit him with the rod (they have a discipline rod) 3x. Then I talked to him after...

Me: Do you know the reason why mommy spanked you? Mommy loves you but mommy needs to correct your wrong doings. Hitting is bad. That's not good. It just shows that you don't respect mommy. Don't do it again, ok? Say sorry na to mommy...

Chris didn't say sorry. Instead, he made faces. As in ha! Yung tipong nagbababble with matching rolling tongue and eyes going up while moving his head. Nakakaloka kaya! Ganun pala yung feeling kapag nasasagot ang magulang no? San kaya natutunan yun?

Anyway, because of that, may punishment siya. Pinaupo ko lang sa isang tabi.

Me: Since you don't want to say sorry to mommy and you're making faces, I'll give you a punishment. Just sit on chair. No playing! No TV! No going down unless you are ready to say sorry to mommy.

Sumunod naman. After around 10 minutes, nagtatangka nang bumaba...

Me: Ops, ops, ops... I told you not to go down unless...

Biglang tumakbo towards me and said sorry while patting my head...

Chris: Sorry mommy...
Me: What else will you tell mommy?
Chris: I love you mommy...
Me: I love you too anak. No hitting and making faces na ha.
Chris: Opo.

Awww moment talaga yun!

Scenario 3: On New Baby

Since preggy ako, medyo nag-iingat ako that's why I remind him that there is a baby inside me.

Me: Chris, be careful. There is a baby inside mommy's tummy.
Chris: No! No! No! No baby!
Me: There's a baby, baby. You'll be a kuya already. You'll take care of your baby brother or sister ha.
Chris: No baby! No baby!

Chirs: No baby...no baby...no baby...no, no baby...

As in tuloy tuloy yung pagkanta niya ha. Nakakalurky talaga!

Scenario 4: Peeing on Ian

Hehehe.

Kawawa naman si Ian, ang nasabi na lang sa akin while showing his arms...

Ian: Mommy, wash! wash!

Nakakaloka ano?

Hehehe.

Happy Sunday guys!!!

Twins at VCF Kid's Church 051813

I sent again yesterday the twins at the Kid's Church since naiiwan na nga.

CHRIS PADUA RM 1

Hala ka! Ibig sabihin nun, pinapatawag ako. Dali dali akong pumunta sa pre-school kid's church at nadatnan kong nagtatantrums si Chris. Nag-ngangangawa like there's no tomorrow! I asked the teacher what happened. Naglalaro raw kasi under the chair and nasaway kaya ayun, tinopak na.

Nakakatuwa ang kid's church dahil marami silang activities there. May prayer, praise and worship, Bible stories, arts & crafts, etc. Like yesterday, ang dami nilang arts & crafts na ginawa.

Let me end this blog post by sharing you the pictures of their works...

Have a great Sunday everyone!!!

SWAG: Shala Goodies

In times like this that I'm feeling somewhat down and stressed, simple things make me happy. =)

Thanks to the med rep that gave hubby these shala goodies...

Pinaccle Macadamias Macadamia Cookies

Maitre Truffout Chocolate Sticks Coffee

I'm sure the kulilits will love it! Titikim lang ako para iwas gestational diabetes. Hehehe. =)

Weekend at Camaya Coast

Last weekend, we went to Camaya Coast in Bataan. Hehehe.

We went to Camaya Coast via Sun Cruises last Friday. Super enjoy ang mga kulilits on the way there dahil nakasakay sila ng ferry boat...

To keep them busy, pinakain lang namin ng pinakain. Look at their angas look while eating chicken hotdogs...

Hahaha!

We arrived at Camaya Coast at around 9:00am. Ang bilis ano? One and a half hour lang kasi ang travel time going there from Manila.

Siyempre, ang una naming ginawa is we toured around our room. Super nice and spacious siya!

Here are the pictures:

After we settled in our room, we went to the pavilion to eat our am snack...

Then after eating, we went to the infinity pool to swim. Below are the pictures of the pool:

Here is the view of the infinity pool connecting to the kiddie pool...

The following day, swimming galore na naman kami ng mga kulilits and here are some of our photos...

While hubby did a photo walk of the place...

Ang nice ng place ano? It is very clean, serene and exclusive. Ang sarap mapag-isa dito kapag may problem or stressed out ka. Hehehe.

Overnight lang kami sa Camaya Coast since Mother's Day kinabukasan and maraming uuwi dahil election nung Monday. So while waiting for us to get on board, picture picture muna ulit kami. Hehehe.

Me with my parents...

Mama G, Papa G and Me

With hubby...

We left Camaya Coast past 8:00pm already. Just imagine what time we arrived home. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay there. =)
