Dinner at Mama Lou's Italian Kitchen

Last Saturday, I accompanied Kuya Bimbo and Ai to Uniwide Sales Las Pinas since they were convinced with my kuwentos the last time I went there. They were so happy after our shopping since they were able to buy some Christmas plates, decors, jars, etc. at a very cheap price. Imagine, we brought home 2 huge boxes of items which only cost around P2k!

Sulit na sulit ang trip namin sa Uniwide. Worth it talaga kahit na nagkadugyot dugyot kami sa init at alikabok sa loob.

Ako naman, may nabitbit pa rin pauwi. I bought some Christmas and birthday paper bags. It's cheap ha, P150.00 per kilo lang. You heard me right. Per kilo ang bentahan! Each medium-sized paper bag costs only around P12.00. Murang mura di ba? Sa ibang stores, around P30.00 to P50.00 ang isang paper bag. Aside from that, ang gaganda ng designs (may texture pa yung iba) and  imported pa.

After shopping, we got hungry. We were suppose to eat merienda lang pero 6pm na that's why we decided to eat dinner instead. We tried Mama Lou's Italian Kitchen which is located inside BF Homes near Southland.

I'll photoblog the food that we ordered as well as the place.

The menu card...

While waiting for our order, they served us bread with pesto and tomato spread. We had two servings of these. Ang sarap eh! Lalo na yung spread, very fresh talaga.

We ordered 14" Mama Lou's Special Pizza. It is a thin crust pizza with tomato, mozzarella, prosciutto, mango, arugula and balsamic cream. This pizza is perfect! I love the blend of the flavors.

They served these alfalfa sprouts and arugula to complement the pizza. Parang Dear Darla pizza of Yellow Cab lang ang peg.

We also ordered Seafood Alfredo - an assorted seafood pasta topped with a light and delicious alfredo sauce. If you are a white sauce lover, this is a must-try! The sauce is not rich kaya hindi nakakaumay tapos minatch pa ng al dente pasta. Yummy talaga!

And this is my drink - forever bottomless iced tea! Sarap din ng iced tea nila, hindi lasang tubig na kinulayan. Do you get what I mean? Hahaha.

Siyempre, may group picture kami. Ang mga dugyot, BOW!

For the place naman, the restaurant is just small but has a good interior design. House lang kasi siya na kinonvert into a restaurant eh. May 2nd floor siya actually pero according to the floor manager, inaayos pa para maging function room.

Here is the side where the wine rack is located.

Zoom out! You can spot our table...

The other area which is enclosed. You can have functions here.

The mini garden. Sorry for the dark photo.

So that's it! If you live near the area and craving for an Italian food, this restaurant is highly recommended!
