Football Trial Lesson of Ian and Chris

I want to expose my kids to sports. Yung tipong may sports sila kung saan sila magaling. I think ang saya nun if someday I'll be their number 1 cheerleader and fan. Hahaha! Ako kasi, sporty pero di lang halata. Hahaha!

Kaya nga, as early as 1 year old, we enrolled na our twins to swimming lessons. For me kasi, it's a must na dapat  confident sa water at marunong magswim ang mga anak ko.

That's why we are still discovering it. We had them try Taekwondo in a trial class. Pero I think they are still young for that and medyo hindi pa nila feel.

Then we had them try football last Tuesday. Chelsea Football Club Soccer School Philippines offered kasi a free trial lesson to TMA Homeschool students. Kaya ayun, we grabbed the opportunity to see if the twins would like it.

Their football field is at Blue Pitch inside Circuit Makati...

It's a huge football field with artificial grass...

Here are the pictures of the twins during their trial lesson...

and here are some videos...

You can see in their faces that they are so happy and they had a lot of fun during the trial lesson. I think football is for them. That's why hubby and I decided that we'll enroll them this summer. So there, their formal football lesson will start on April 7 na! I'm so excited!!!

Pero may side kwento pa ako...

After their football trial lesson, we are about to go home na. Pero out of nowhere...

Ian: Mommy, I want to go to Tito Ninong Paolo. He'll give me my Bumblebee!
Chris: And my Optimus Prime too!

Haaayyy...

I called their Tito Ninong and he immediately agreed to meet us. At may bonus pa, niyaya pa kami magdinner. Hehehe.

Here are the boys with their new toys from Tito Ninong Paolo...

Thank you again Tito Ninong Paolo for being a loving and thoughtful ninong and uncle to your nephews! And thank you also for the sumptuous dinner!

By the way, imention ko na rin dito sa post that Mama G bought them football jerseys.

Thank you ulit Mama G for buying and personally delivering these football jerseys to our home!

That's all guys! Happy weekend!!!

Celebrity Mom & Huggies Dry Pants #PantsUp PlayDate

Last March 4, I received an email from Celebrity Mom inviting me as a VIP guest on a Playdate. It said there that Ms. Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan, Celebrity Mom Editor-in-Chief, will be there and a lot of activities are in store for me and my kids.

Since I love to attend an event that would involve my kids, I immediately replied to the email. That is because mag-eenjoy na ako, mag-eenjoy pa ang mga kiddos ko. =)

So there, my 3 kiddos and I attended the "Celebrity Mom & Huggies Dry Pants #PantsUp PlayDate" yesterday at the Gymboree Play & Music, Manila Polo Club. We arrived there early so we were asked to go first to the play area.

Super nag-enjoy silang tatlo. Takbo dito, takbo doon. Lambitin dito, lambitin doon. Akyat dito, akyat doon. Suot dito, suot doon. Gapang dito, gapang doon. At kung anu ano pa!

Here are their pictures inside the Gymboree play area...

Hahaha! Sobra nga akong nag-worry eh kasi baka maubusan sila ng energy dahil after ng event may football lesson pa sila.

Anyway, while we were inside the play area, we were given Huggies Dry Pants and we were asked to wear it to our toddlers. Bakit kamo? They have an IG and FB contest kasi. We were to take photos of our toddlers wearing Huggies Dry Pants and they will choose 2 winners - best photo and most number of likes photo. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to join. olats kasi ako eh, wala akong data plan! Hahaha! Boo talaga! Tapos, I tried to turn on my data sa phone, di pa rin ako makapagnet. Sobrang malas! Sayang ang price. Super galante ng Huggies kasi they gave one month supply of diapers to the best photo and 2 months supply of diapers to the most number of likes photo.

Hahaha!

After about an hour, they already asked the moms to go to the function room...

Here's the nice table setup...

The event is hosted by Bettina Carlos...

She's a mom of a 4 y/o girl. Hindi halata ano? She hosted the event well and even shared some thoughts as a mom.

Ms. Joji Coloma did the welcome remarks...

And we had a fun chit chat with Ms. Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan (editor-in-chief of Celebrity Mom)...

We were first asked to shoot some questions to her but nobody did. Maybe, we were all starstruck to her. Hehe! But later on, we got engaged.

We learned a lot from her. We talked about many things. Some topics were about sleeping habits of kids, how to deal with picky eaters and bonding ideas. She's really a good speaker. As she speaks, you could see that she's full of wisdom. Mommy peg talaga! =)

During the event, they had games too! Dun na lang ako bumawi since hindi ako nakajoin sa IG and FB challenge. Hehe. By the way, I won 2 games! Yahooooo!

So we went home happily with these...

What's inside?

First Bag: Boxes and plastics of tissues...

I won this from the first game. They showed pictures of 90's toys and you should guess what it is. I guessed one right which is "family computer".

Second Bag: More tissues, wipes, sanitary napkin, socks, back-issues of of Celebrity Mom Magazine

This is their giveaway during the event. Everybody received a loot bag!

Assorted pairs of Burlington socks...

The Twins and I won this from another game. We were given a sock and we have to find its pair which was hidden around somewhere the event place.

And last but not the least, all guests were given a month supply of Huggies Dry Pants...

Di ba ang saya saya? Sabi sa inyo eh. Extraordinary yung araw namin kahapon. Ang dami naming bitbit pauwi! Hehe!

So that's it! The Celebrity Mom & Huggies Dry Pants #PantsUp PlayDate event is truly an afternoon of fun and learning.

Thank you again for inviting us Celebrity Mom and Huggies Philippines!

SWAG: All In One Day!

It has been a while since I last posted about a SWAG (Stuff We All Get). Baka sabihin niyo kasi masyado akong OA eh. Pero kahit paisa-isa lang yun, we are still grateful about it because we know that we are remembered and blessed. =)

Anyway, yesterday is kinda extraordinary day. Medyo marami kasi kami nareceive na blessings eh. Pero di naman ganun kalakihan but still blessing pa rin. To cut the long story short, hubby came home with some goodies, I came home with some goodies and the twins came home with something too!

For this post, I'll just share the stuff that hubby came home with last night yung sa akin and sa twins sa susunod na post na lang. =)

Banana Chips...

Cashew Nuts...

Chocolate Cake...

All of those came from med reps. Thank you med reps for the gifts! =)

Food Trip: Milad's Happy Tummy Restobar

I had my first prenatal checkup this morning at Sta. Rosa Hospital and Medical Center (SRHMC). Hubby and I decided that I'll give birth there instead of Makati Medical Center. Fully paid na kasi kami with our stocks there so malaking menos talaga sa panganganak. Anyway, I'm happy naman with my new OB. She is older than my previous one pero ang gaan kaagad ng loob ko sa kanya. Ang sarap kausap. Yung tipong parang close kaagad kayo. Parang mommy ko lang ba.

So ayun na nga. Inabot na kami ng lunch time. I asked hubby where kami kakain. As long as edible, presentable and reasonable, GO kami dun! Intially, I asked him to scout yung mga restaurant sa tabi ng SRHMC, may nakita kasi kami mga kainan dun before. Unfortunately, puros sarado sila. So I told hubby na maghanap na lang kami on the way to Pacita since mag-eexit kami sa Southwoods para magpadiesel (mura kasi ang gas and diesel dun ng about P2.00).

Then, I saw a Chinese restaurant sa may Pacita Complex near Robinsons Supermarket and suggested it to hubby. Unli-Rice with free Iced Tea and Soup".

Me (jokingly): Be, tignan mo o! Happy Tummy... Unli-Rice with free Iced Tea and Soup pa!
Doc Padu: Uy, diyan na lang tayo!
Me: Seryoso ka?
Doc Padu: Oo unli-rice eh!

Hahaha!

The resto is beside a small supermarket...

Their concept is parang tapsi place...

Here is their menu...

Grabe ano? The price of their rice meals start with P69.00. Ang pinakamahal is P99.00 lang. Ang mura sobra, the fact na unli-rice and free iced tea yung mga meals.

Hubby and I ordered 2-piece chicken...

Close-up view of the chicken...

In fairness ha, malaki ang serving. Hindi tipid! Pati yung iced tea nila nasa tall glass. Eh ang lasa, kamusta naman? Masarap siya, promise! Yung coating ng chicken, according to hubby, parang may curry. Very malasa siya and hindi dry. Hahaha!

So ayan, shinare ko lang sa inyo... Good find kasi talaga eh! Panalo! We really left the place with a HAPPY TUMMY...

From Taiwan with Love by Mama G

My parents and my brother went to Taiwan early this week. It's actually a business trip of my dad with the Pillar's 5 group. He just tagged along my mom and brother. Sinasama nga kami eh, pero nag-pass muna ako. Lam niyo na, no clinic, no money kami (yan ang buhay doctor). Plus ang daming bayarin at kailangan makabawi sa laki ng gastos last year.

Kaya nga naman... Nagbilin na ako kay madir! =)

Very unique and matibay.

Here are our pasalubong from Mama G:

Diaper bag...

Kiddie Toothbrush...

and Gigantic Yakult...

But wait! There's more!!! Di nagtatapos sa bilin ko ang pasalubong ni Mama G. She also bought us the following:

Nougat...

UCC Coffee...

Soya Milk...

Wafer Sticks...

Shoulder bag...

 Some treats from Taiwan...

Hahaha!

Thank you Mama G sa mga pasalubong! Mwah! =)
