(Mis)Adventures in Japan: Day 4

For our fourth day in Japan, we were suppose to go to Osaka Castle, Sumiyoshi Taisha, Shitennoji Temple, Umeda Sky Building and ride an aqua bus via Aqua Liner. Bakit kamo? Number 1 reason: We were unable to leave the apartment on time. Ano pa ba ang bago di ba? Next, my parents opted not to go na sa mga temple temple. Third, it was raining and it was hard for us to travel since we have kids in tow. And lastly, we need to go back to Namba area at around 7pm since we will meet my uncle for dinner.

Since it was raining that time, we chose to ride an aqua bus first. Mahirap kasi maglakad lakad when it is raining eh.

While waiting for us to board, picture picture muna kami...

Inside the aqua bus...

Did you notice the pink something behind me? Parang spring yan eh. Astig yung roof ng aqua bus, kapag dadaan kami under a bridge, bumababa yung ceiling. =)

Here are some of the views during the aqua bus tour...

After the tour, the twins had an opportunity to take a picture inside the captain's control booth...

After the aqua bus tour, we went to the Osaka Castle. And I tell you guys, isang mahabang lakaran ang ganap dito!

Here is the gate of the castle...

A nice view of Osaka Castle with the bridge going there...

At siyempre, the obligatory family picture at the brige...

Here are some views around the castle...

The castle up close...

Family picture (minus sleeping Christoff) near the castle...

On the way back to the train station, here are some of the places that you can find around the area:

The Osaka-Jo Hall...

There is an event that time kaya there were a lot of people going there.

Some fountain at the place...

Bridge going to CBD around the area...

Takoyaki...

We dunno what is this but we still tried it...

This one too...

Some Japanese pancakes for the twins...

After the Osaka Castle area, we decided to go to Osaka train station to have our late lunch. Super laki! Let me tour you around...

The clock...

Super duper high escalators going to the upper part of the adjoining mall...

Here is the top view of the train station from the restaurant where we ate...

We ate at some buffet restaurant at Lucua Dining...

After lunch, we were suppose to go to Umeda Sky building, pero tinamad na ang mga oldies. It was our last day na rin kasi at Osaka eh.

Dinner time came, we went back to Dotombori to eat at some ramen house with my uncle...

Here is how you order your ramen there. Vendo style...

Here is how it look inside the ramen house...

Once you're done eating, alis ka dapat kaagad. One way din ang daanan sa loob. It means to say na ang entrance door is different to the exit door.

Since I don't eat pork or beef, eto lang ang ramen ko... puro gulay in chicken broth...

Hehehe!

After dinner, shopping shopping lang ulit kami ng kaunti then balik na sa apartment para ayusin ang mga pinamili sa luggage.

That's our tiring fourth day in Japan! Watch out for more... =)
