Post Birthday Celebration at Crimson Hotel

Last weekend, we celebrated my birthday at Crimson Hotel. We chose Crimson because (1) it's located in Alabang which is near our house, (2) it's a new 5-star hotel and (3) they have a promo package which includes buffet breakfast for two.

Let me tour you around.

Here's the hotel lobby which is located at the 8th floor...

The swimming pool area...

Our room is located at the 22nd floor. Each floor has an elevator lobby...

We booked a deluxe room. We actually requested for a king size bed. Unfortunately, only deluxe rooms with two twin beds were available since the hotel was fully booked that time.

Here's the inside of our room:

The work and entertainment area...

The corner nook...

The mini bar...

So what did we do then?

We just relaxed... relaxed... and relaxed.

Then just enjoyed...

enjoyed...

and enjoyed...

Hubby and the kulilits watched movies...

They are watching Emperor's New Groove here.

Until hubby went out for a while to check his new admission. Yeah, I know, it's such a kill joy. But we can't do anything about that because that's hubby's profession.

So, I was left alone with the Kulilits...

Good thing that the Kulilits were behave that time. They just watched movies and ate snacks. =)

Chris fell asleep here while eating and watching a movie. You can't deny that he's the son of his father. Hehehe!

At around 9:00pm, hubby finally arrived with our dinner. We ate dinner together then watched movies again until we all fell asleep.

The following day, we ate breakfast at Cafe Eight...

They have a lot of food choices...

Salad & Cold Cuts Station

Bread & Pastries

Fresh Fruits, Yogurt, Cereals & Juices

Egg Station & Main Menu Dishes

Other Side of Main Menu Dishes

Here I am with the Kulilits during breakfast...

What can I say about the food?

Though what I eat is only limited to veggies, chicken and fish, I still enjoyed their food. I ate their fresh salad, smoked salmon (my favorite), egg sandwich, mushroom & cheese omelette, congee with century egg, fried rice, chicken teriyaki and some doughnuts for dessert. =)

Who do you think enjoyed the breakfast most?

Of course, no other than, my hubby!!! He ate a lot! Hahaha! His favorite was the danggit. He also ate waffles and assorted sausages which he told me was good combination.

After breakfast, we went around the hotel again.

Here are the Kulilits running around the pool area...

They wanted to swim but we didn't allow them since they just recovered from flu.

The Kulilits at the waiting area near the front desk which they turned into a wrestling ring...

We went to the front desk because hubby requested for a late checkout. We just actually requested to stay until 1:00pm, but they are generous enough to let us stay until 2:00pm.

So there, we went back to our room; I slept again with Chris while Ian and hubby watched TV.

Our stay at Crimson Hotel is such a wonderful experience. We bonded as a family. It's just the four of us enjoying each other. =) I hope we'll have another moment like this in the future.
