Last Friday, I was really scared to death.
Ganito kasi yan... Last Wednesday morning, nag-start na magfever si Christoff. We were closely monitoring him and nacocontrol naman namin ang fever niya through paracetamol and wet towel. Then last Friday morning, may swimming lesson ang kambal and mukhang uulan, so I decided to leave him at home na lang tutal naman our plantsadora (Sally) was there to watch over him and he didn't have a fever na naman that time.
For about 1 1/2 hours we were out of the house then when we came back kinamusta ko kaagad si Christoff. Sally told me na inaantok na raw si Christoff and patulog na (Sally was just infront of Christoff sewing something).
So I found it weird na hindi man lang ako sinalubong. I immediately went close to him and called his name. Hindi man lang nagrerespond sa tawag ko ang anak ko and hindi gumagalaw (He was in a curled up position). Nung nakita ko yung legs and arms niya, sobra namang lamig and nangingitim na and nanginginig siya. Kaya dali dali ko siyang inakap para mabigyan ko ng human heat then I tried to keep him conscious. Sobrang natakot pa ako dahil yung eyes niya parang gusto niyang ipikit. Then I got a wet towel at pinunasan ko siya.
At eto pa, I tried to keep my calm as much as possible para di ako magpanic. Umiiyak na talaga ako that time.
After ko mapunasan si Christoff, I tried to breastfeed him. Buti naman at nagsuck siya. Medyo nakampante ako dahil nagrespond siya. Then I called na my mom and husband to tell them what was happening that time and to tell them that I'll bring na Christoff to the hospital.
I brought Christoff to Perpetual Help Hospital since yun na ang pinakamatinong hospital na malapit sa house namin. When we were there, when the nurses tried to check his vital signs, umiyak na siya and nanlaban. Kasi all the time tahimik lang siya eh and walang kibo.
Anyway, they got some blood and urine samples from him para makita yung cause ng fever niya. Awang awa ako that time kay Christoff.
Moving forward... The doctor was considering if it was just a chill or a seizure (kombulsyon).
Dapat icoconfine siya but hubby decided that we'll just closely monitor him at home. Kaya ayun, that late afternoon, we went out na rin sa hospital.
Guess where we went after? We went to our manghihilot to check if Christoff has a pilay or bati (usog). It turned out na may bati si Christoff. Ang lakas daw ng nakausog sa kanya. Matandang babae daw. I remembered that we were at the football training of the twins the night before and bigla na lang siya nilagnat kinabukasan ng madaling araw. Kayo ba, do you believe in such things?
Anyway, yun yung happenings last Friday na sobrang nakapagtaranta sa akin. Imagine, for just 1 1/2 hours lang ako nawala, ganun na nangyari kay Christoff. All the while, akala lang ni Sally natutulog si Christoff, yun pala naninigas na. What if nahuli ang dating ko? Para bang binulungan ako that time.
Moral of the story: Never ever leave any of my sons if they are sick. Dapat closely monitored talaga! Iba pa rin ang pagbabantay ng ina.
So that's it! Everything is ok now. We had Christoff checked by his pedia and it turned out that he had Roseola. He is back to his normal state now - malikot and matakaw! We really thank God for always being there with us.
Goodnight everyone! =)

Food Trip: Bagnet 8065
Last Thursday, we had another foodventure in Makati after the twins' football training. Hahaha! Segway muna ako ha... Share ko lang conversation namin sa car...
After I settled in the car...
Doc Padu: Be, san tayo magdidinner mamaya?
Me: Ha!?
Ano masasabi niyo? Hahaha!
Anyway, we had our dinner at Bagnet 8065.
Here is the facade of the restaurant...
As you can see, wala siyang parking area.
Non-aircon area...
First floor from the door...
You may notice na maraming nakasabit sa gilid na frames and may mga awards. They belong to Kitchie Nadal. Nacurious tuloy si hubby. He thought that the restaurant was owned by her. To be sure, tinanong niya yung waiter. Yun pala it was owned by her brother.
First floor from the far end...
Second floor...
Akalain niyo, there are more seats upstairs pa pala. So ibig sabihin, marami talagang kumakain.
Here is a picture of me with my twins...
Ang ganda ng mga ngiti ano?
So we ordered the following:
Bagnet Dinuguan (Budget Meal)...
Order ito ni hubby. Supposedly, dapat yung good for two ang oorderin namin para di siya mabitin.
Good thing that hubby got the budget meal. If ever na yung good for two raw ang kinuha niya, malamang hindi niya mauubos. Ang lakas daw sa kanin nung dinuguan! And ang sarap sarap daw! Are you familiar with the crispy dinuguan of Kanin Club? Parang ganun din daw ang lasa and texture. Kaya ang description niya with his food is "SOLID"!
According to the server, 200grams daw ng bagnet yun eh.
Crispy Chicken Curry (Budget Meal)...
This is my order. I ordered curry, kasi favorite ko yun lalo na kapag maanghang. For this one, medyo nadisappoint ako sa curry sauce. Yung curry niya, yung typical Pinoy curry. Yung bland lang and mas angat yung gata kesa sa curry powder. Pero with the crispy chicken, wala akong masasabi, lumelevel sa Max's yung lasa. Masarap yung chicken nila. And in fairness ha, ang laki ng chicken.
Original Crispy Chicken (Budget Meal)...
This is what I ordered for the twins. As I have said earlier, their chicken is yummy. Nagustuhan ng mga bata. How did I know na nagustuhan nila? Naubos nila yung food eh. Haha!
We ordered tortang talong kaso lang na-sold out na. At siyempre we also ordered extra rice and 1.5L of Royal.
Our total bill is only P505.00! Pwede na ano? Busog na busog naman kami paglabas eh. Hahaha! Hahaha!
For your reference, below is their menu...
Bagnet 8065

San Antonio Village, Makati City
by the way, they have another branch which is at Leon Guinto St., Malate, Manila.
Well, where will be our next stop? Hmmm... Perhaps we will try Chichops...
Til' our next foodventure!!!

Kudos to TCL!
You know what? Nakakatuwa ang TCL kasi super galing ng kanilang after sales service. Now lang kasi namin na-experience na magkaroon ng free cleaning and check-up ng TV eh. A staff from TCL called kasi hubby, around last week ata yun, informing us that they'll give us free cleaning and check-up for the TV that we purchased late last year. Akalain niyo yun, di naman kamahalan ang brand nila pero they have this kind of after sales service.
So here were the technicians of TCL while cleaning and checking our unit at home...
Aside from cleaning and checking the unit, they even gave me some tips on how to clean the TV. Before kasi, kahit naandar yung TV, linis lang ako ng linis with the LCD cleaner. Di pala ganun yun. Dapat pala bago gamitin yung TV or dapat palamigin muna yung TV bago linisin kundi magwawarp yung screen. =)
Sobrang natutuwa lang ako with TCL that's why I wrote this entry.
Kudos TCL! Continue to make your customers happy! =)

Food Trip: Goto Monster
Hello guys! How are you? Ako, as usual, busy pa rin. One more reason kung bakit sobrang busy ako ay dahil may summer classes kasi ang Kambalistik eh (swimming and football) kaya di talaga ako mapirmi sa bahay. Yes, nakakapagod... =)
The football classes of the twins are held at Blue Pitch located inside Circuit Makati every Tuesday and Thursday. Gabi yun so we eat our dinner na lang somewhere in Makati since alanganin na kung sa house pa kami kakain.
Last night, we ate at Goto Monster. Why Goto Monster? Yun yung parang may Man vs Food challenge wherein you need to finish a big bowl of goto.
Eto yun o... remember?
No! We didn't dare to try the challenge. Ang mahal kasi kapag natalo eh! Hahaha!
Anyway, here is the facade of the restaurant...
All the while, I thought the place is a bit big pero when we went there, maliit lang pala.
The dining area...
See the posters at the wall? Nakakaaliw yung mga yun. Different faces yun ni Goto Monster. Ginaya niya yung mga known people like Freddie Aguilar, Wanna Change, Tessa Prieto, FVR, Elvis, etc.
See the bowls there?
My boys waiting for our order...
Hungry boys! Inaaliw na lang nila mga sarili nila. Like for the twins, they played with the toothpick. Ginagaya nila yung isang Ninja Turtle, baka si Rafael yun. Hehe!
The kitchen...
Everything is prepared there. When you order, hindi siya tulad ng ordinary na gotohan/carinderia na sandok and serve ang ginagawa. You have to wait for minutes talaga kasi they prepare your order from scratch.
The condiments...
They have patis (fish sauce), toyo (soy sauce), suka (vinegar), bagoong (fermented fish), dried chili and paminta (ground pepper).
We ordered the following:
Chickenbagnetsilog...
I ordered this for the twins. Patok naman sa kanila. Yummy daw and they loved it! Naubos nga nila eh.
2 orders of Goto Special...
Their goto has ox tripe, spring onions, salted egg, tinapa and toasted garlic. Ang sarap niya ha, in fairness. The salted egg and tinapa added more flavor to the goto. Plus the paminta.
Pansin niyo yung salted egg? Nagmamantika right? Panalo promise! Di ba nga sabi nila, if you buy salted eggs, yung nagmamantika dapat.
You know what? Actually, pwede siyang good for two kung may iba pa kayong order.
Tokwa...
Ang sarap ng pagkaluto nila sa tokwa. Crunchy from the outside pero soft siya inside. For the sawsawan, I mixed toyo, suka and dried chili. Matabang siya para sa akin. I just hope na may ready na sila na sawsawan for their tokwa dishes.
Yun lang din ang comment niya is about the sawsawan.
Duck Salted Egg...
For this one, nagkamali ako ng basa. I thought duck salted egg fried rice siya. Bigla kong naisip yung fried rice na nakain namin sa Brunei wherein there are a lot of salted duck egg yolks in it kaya inorder ko. Yun pala salted egg lang talaga. Hehehe. Pero
Bibingka Special (Waffle ala Mode)...
This is for our dessert. This is a bibingka waffle with special bukayo, duck salted egg, salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream.
The kids enjoyed the vanilla ice cream. Ako naman, nag-enjoy sa duck salted eggs. Yes, medyo na-overload ako sa duck salted egg last night.
Going back, their bibingka special (waffle ala mode) is yummers! Ang galing din ng presentation! Akalain niyo ba na meron silang ganitong food dito di ba?
For your reference, below is their menu...
For food lovers, I recommend this place to you. Their food won't disappoint. Yun lang medyo may pagkapricey yung food nila considering the ambiance of their place. Example na lang is their goto which is P85.00 compared to ordinary gotohan na around P30.00 lang.

Product Review: Bubble Man Dishwashing Liquid Soap
When it comes to household products, I'm always on the verge of trying new ones. Meaning to say, I don't really stick to a particular brand specially when I discover that there is a cheaper but better one. It isn't really not being loyal. Instead, I call it being practical.
Like for dishwashing liquid soap, you not only use it everyday but at least three times a day. So malakas talaga ang gamit nito so you have to at least try to look for some alternative products if you want to save on your monthly grocery expenses. Kaya nga when I was asked to try and blog about Bubble Man dishwashing liquid soap, I immediately agreed lalo na nung nalaman ko na it's a local brand.
The variants of dishwashing liquid soap that they sent me include antibac, lemon and kalamsi.
Siyempre, I tried all of them and did some research before writing this blog entry. So here's my personal opinion about the product...
Product
In terms of packaging, you can see that it is presentable and comparable to other brands. The plastic container, I could say, is durable. Hindi siya yung malambot na tipong tinipid. What I like with their packaging is their cap. It's not the flip cap type which easily breaks due to often use. And ang ganda din sa cap nila is that mas nacocontrol mo yung labas ng liquid soap.
For the smell, I could say na hindi masakit sa ilong. Yung ibang brand kasi parang gumuguhit sa ilong yung amoy. This product has mild scent. Yung tipong masarap amuy amoyin. My favorite scent is the kalamansi.
I checked also the consistency of the liquid.
For the appearance of the liquid soap, they used appropriate colors - blue for the antibac, yellow for lemon and green for kalamsi. Same same lang with the other brands.
In terms of effectiveness, it really cleans well. I tried using it in two ways - splotching it directly to the sponge (as directed) and diluting it with water. Both ways, it's effective.
After rinsing it, you can really feel that you thoroughly washed your dishes. Walang dulas! Aside from that, it is easy to rinse din. Hindi makapit yung soap and yung amoy niya. So tipid ka rin sa tubig. =)
Kamusta naman sa kamay ko? Like what the product claims, it is really gently on hands. Feel mo rin na hindi nagdri-dry yung skin mo after using it.
Price
Siyempre I asked them for the price list since price is an important determining factor in buying a product.
For a single 270ml, it is priced at P32.50 for all variants. And for their promo which is 2 x 270ml, it is priced at P55.00 for all variants (P27.50 each).
I went to the supermarket to check the prices of the other brands. Mas cheaper talaga ang Bubble Man. The cheapest product that I saw is priced at P32.25 pero it's only 250ml. Then for the leading brand naman, it is priced at P66.95 for a 250ml bottle (lemon and kalamansi variants) and P76.95 for a 250ml bottle of antibac variant.
For a single 880ml naman, it is priced at P65.00 for all variants. And for their promo 2 x 880ml, it is priced at P120.00 for all variants (P60.00 each).
When I checked the price of the leading brand, the price is P198.50 for an 800ml bottle (lemon and kalamansi variants) and P217.95 for an 800ml bottle of antibac variant.
More than triple kung icocompute natin. Tapos mas premium pa kapag antibac. Just imagine kung gaano kalaki ang matitipid di ba?
Where to buy?
I also asked them where I could buy Bubble Dishwashing Liquid Soap. Unfamiliar kasi sa akin and parang hindi ko nakikita sa supermarket where I do my grocery shopping.

According to them, you can buy the product at the following supermarkets/stores:
- Puregold
- Walter Mart
- San Roque Supermarket
- Gaisano
- Robinsons Supermarket
- Mercury Drug
- Fisher Mall
- The Landmark
- LCC
Marami rami na rin pala. So next time aware na ako. Madalas kasi I do my grocery shopping at Makati Supermarket but once in a while I also go to Puregold.
The Verdict?
I highly recommend Bubble Man Dishwashing Liquid! Aside from being effective, it's very very affordable and economical! Plus the fact that it's easy to rinse and very gentle to your hands.
Other than that, remember that it's manufactured by a local company. Gawang Pinoy! So aside from saving a lot of money, we are supporting a local brand too.
Kaya guys, try na!
