We are Blessed with a New Home

Ayan, I can already tell you guys kung ano yung isa ko pang pinagkakaabalahan nung mga nagdaang araw na nabanggit ko sa isang blog entry ko. We finally have a new home!!!

Ang tagal na namin ipinagdadasal na sana mahanap na namin yung tamang house for us. We want kasi to live either sa BF Paranaque or BF Resort Village. Gusto kasi ni hubby gitna kami in terms of location and malapit kami sa mga kainan and everything.

May pending case pa. So we forego it na lang. Mahirap na di ba?

Next is that one Sunday afternoon, we decided to go house hunting again. This time sa BF Resort naman. I told hubby about it, masunurin naman kaya nag-u-turn kami. Then bigla akong may nakitang poster sa isang barber shop na for sale na bungalow. Pero since we are thinking of around 3.5M budget, may inoffer sa amin na ibang property which is along E. Padua St. We thought na mukhang yun na yung sign kasi ka-apelyido namin ang street. Pero when I saw the house, di ko feel kaya I insisted hubby to check the bungalow.

We went back to the barber shop and asked kung saan located yung bungalow. Sakto rin kasi yung street where we turned left dun din yung daan papunta dun sa property which is along Simonette Delos Reyest St. Then when we saw the house, we fell in love na. Though luma na yung house, very livable na tapos 300 sqm pa yung lot and marami ring fruit bearing trees. We thought that's it na. I did due diligence na nga with the property eh para sure na clean title bago kami makapag down payment. Nung time na magdodown payment na kami. Medyo nagkaproblema kami sa seller. Alam niyo yun, pabago bago ng isip. Tapos puro in favor sa kanya yung gustong nakasulat sa Contract to Sell.

Lam niyo yun, sobrang gaan kaagad ng pakiramdam the first time we met her. Very open and straightforward siya. Hehe. She is not after the income. Instead, she is after the long term relationship. Pero tinulungan pa rin niya kami to get the property at our desired price.

To cut the long story short, we got a better property in terms of lot size, location, price and most of all a very kind seller. As in complete opposite!

This is it na talaga guys! I want to share you some pictures of the property. It's a 326sqm lot with an old house which needs renovation pa kaya di pa masyadong kaaya aya yung mga pictures. We plan to start the renovation baka late this year or early next year na. Kailangan muna mag-ipon muna ng budget. Hehe.

Here is the frontage of the house. 70's na 70's ang style eh.

Here is the front garden. May mga fruit bearing trees na. Kailangan lang i-organize yung plants para umaliwalas.

It has a 2 car garage...

A mini garden on one side which I plan to put a trellis for the yellow bell and cherry blossom plants.

Here is the sala...

The dining area...

The main kitchen...

The dirty kitchen...

The first bedroom...

The second bedroom...

The common bathroom...

The master's bedroom...

The master's bedroom bathroom...

The backyard with a very big bahay kubo...

And the other side of the house with a lot of plants and trees...

That's it!

Ipon ipon muna kami pang renovate ng house. Hehe. I promise to share you kwentos about the house renovation and of course mga photos during and after the renovation. =)

My Ninang's Golden Birthday Celebration

We attended my Ninang Vivian's 50th birthday celebration last Saturday at the Diamond Hotel. It has been a while since the last time the Garcia Clan had a bonggang party.

This is my Tita Ninang Vivian, the birthday celebrant...

Super ganda niya ano? Hindi mukhang 50 years old. Sobrang bait niyan and matulungin.

Kaya nga as early as 2:00pm nasa parlor na kami to have our hair and make-up done.

Here am I after my hair and make-up...

Pwede na ano? Nagmukha na akong tao. Hehe.

Ang mga kulilits, di rin masyadong prepared. Hehe. Talagang pormado sila for the event.

Here are our photos inside the car on our way to Diamond hotel...

Here is my overall outfitey that night. Paselfie-selfie shot na lang for OOTN (outfit of the night) kapag may time. Hehe...

Purse: Hermes (my mom's)
Shoes: Rusty Lopez
Hair & Make-up: Hairzone by Angelo Falconi III

At the event, there is a photobooth. Siyempre di namin pinalagpas yun. Bad thing, hindi kasama si hubby kasi hindi pa rin siya pwedeng lumapit sa amin because of he still has German measles.

As expected, the party is very sossy, extravagant and fun. Talagang pinaghandaan at pinagkagastusan. Hehehe.

Lam niyo ba, may mga surprise awards at the end of the event. Hehehe. They won a miniature Eiffel Tower! I super like it nga eh...

Late na rin natapos ang party. Ang mga kulilits nga ayaw pang umuwi. Dance pa raw sila sa party. In fact, nagtantrums si Ian dahil gusto pa raw niya magdance. Haaayyysssttt.

So that's it!

Hold-Up Lolo Em!!!

Hindi pa pala tapos ang kwento ko...

After we watched a movie at SM Southmall, niyaya kami ng FIL ko to have a snack at Hoagies. While eating there, may batang naglalaro na nakamask ng Iron Man. Aliw na aliw ang mga Kulilits. Panay turo sa bata sabay sabing "Iron Man! Iron Man!"

When it is time for us to go na, ayaw umalis ng mga Kulilits. They want to watch the kid in mask daw. Kaya ayun, sabi ni Lolo Em, he'll buy the Kulilits an Iron Man mask each daw.

So there we went to Toy Kingdom and looked for an Iron Man mask. Hala! Ang mahal pala ng mask na yun. It's around P2k plus each.

We looked na lang for an Iron Man action figure kaso lang out of stock.

Pero, as usual, since bata sila, ang sagot: "No! It's mine!"

Here are the Kulilits showcasing their toys:

Chris with his Iron Man 3 Assemblers...

Ian with his Sulley and Mike...

We'll be Maid-less Again...

Guess what? Our maid talked to me this morning. Nagpapaalam na siya. She'll be leaving us na raw. =(

Haaayyysssttt... Hubby's "Don" life will be over. Hehehehe.

Nothing is permanent naman di ba? Aside from that, our privacy at home will be back. Hehe. =)

So sa amin ni hubby, good luck na lang! Nagawa na namin for more than 6 months with the Kulilits, alam kong kaya namin ito!!!

Hubby Has Rubella

OMG! It's been one week na pala since the last time I blogged. Haaaayyysssttt... Lakad don, lakad dito kasi. Hindi ba napipirmi sa isang lugar.

Anyway, lam niyo ba, my hubby has Rubella or commonly known as German Measles ngayon. He was advised by my OB to stay away from me for 3 weeks. Imagine that?

"I love you daddy!"

"I miss you daddy!"

"Get well daddy!"

Pero ganun talaga, tiis tiis muna. Better be safe than sorry ika nga nila. =)

3D Movie Date with Lolo Em and Lola Es

My MIL called me up this morning and asked me if the Kulilits want to watch Despicable Me 2. Sakto naman because the twins are bugging me to watch it every time they see pictures of minions and I told that to my MIL. Kaya ayun, she told me that they will pick us up in the afternoon so we could watch it at SM Southmall.

Afternoon came, eggzoited ang kambalistik kaya nagbihis kaagad sila ng kanilang Superman attire. At a little past 4:00pm my FIL picked us up.

When we went to Southmall, cinema 1 na lang available ang Despicable Me 2. 3D siya so mas expensive. No choice kami, kaya we watched there na rin.

First time ng mga Kulilits mag-watch ng 3D. Ang winoworry namin is baka tanggalin ang 3D glasses. Well, hindi kami nagkamali. Tinanggal nga! Pero buti na lang si Ian hindi masyado kasi movie addict yung batang yun eh as compared to Chris.

After the movie, picture picture muna ang mga Kulilits with their Lolo Em and Lola Es...

The Kulilits Loves Vegetables

The Kulilits started to eat solid food at 6 months old. As much as possible we feed them healthy food. Since we don't eat pork and beef at home, no choice sila but to eat only fish, chicken, vege-meat, fruits and vegetables. I don't cook separate food for them except, of course, kapag uber spicy yung ulam namin and hindi nila kayang makain. I read it somewhere kasi na hindi dapat iba ang food ng mga babies and dapat masanay sila na kung ano ang naka-serve sa table.

As a result, they love eating fish and veggies!!!

You can see below na super gana nila kumain kahit vegetable lang ang kanilang ulam...

The Kulilit's First Dental Check-up

Last week, we went to Asian Center for Dental Specialties (ACDS) in Alabang for the Kulilit's first dental check-up. Dentist kasi dun yung sister ng bilas ko and I asked her a favor if ok lang kami mag-visit para ma-experience lang ng mga Kulilits kung ano ang ginagawa during a dental check-up and she's kind enough to accommodate us. =)

We arrived at ACDS 10 minutes before 11:00am since our appointment is at 11:00am. Sayang nga eh kasi I wasn't able to take photos of the reception.

So there, we went inside na the clinic. Super clean and organized ng loob. Aside from that, there are 2 LCD TVs - one in front of the dental chair and one on the ceiling. Ang cool ano? Dr. Agnes D. Manzanillo (the dentist) tuned it at Nickelodeon for the kulilits para malibang libang.

Here is the LCD TV on the ceiling...

Since Ian is the kuya, he went first...

Here is Ian while Dr. Manzanillo is brushing his teeth. She used an ordinary kiddie toothbrush kasi baka raw mabigla or matakot yung bata if she uses the motorized one eh.

Since Chris is isa't kalahating inggitero, hindi na siya makapaghintay sa turn niya that's why he climbed up the dental chair na rin. Hehehe.

After Ian, Chris naman. You could see here na super excited siya to have his teeth checked...

Para souvenir with their Tita Agnes, photo-op muna sila with her sa reception before we went home...
