The day when typhoon Glenda hit the Philippines was Christoff's 7th month birthday. Pero kahit may bagyo at brown out that time, tuloy pa rin ang monthly birthday celebration ni Christoff dahil hindi yata pwepwedeng mamiss ang special event ni bunso. =) Kaya that night, we had dinner by LED lights! Naks! Ang lakas makasosyal di ba? LED lights instead of candles. Hahaha!
Hehe. Buti na lang at meron pang bukas na bakeshop that day. We went to BF Paranaque and bought a cake from Mr. Park's Bread and Cake.
We bought this chocolate cake...
Ang nice ng cake ano? I love the cake's design. It's yummy, not sweet and very smooth yung cake. Yung kambal nga, nangalahati nila eh. Yun lang, medyo above the normal range yung price niya. It's P500.00 for this small cake.
And here's our handa...
We had the following:
Red Velvet Crinkles with Cream Cheese filling...
Miki Bihon and bread (not in picture)...
Chicken Galantina...
and assorted Salazar Bakeshop products...
At siyempre, hindi mawawala ang mga obligatory photos namin with the cake...
Our photo with Mama G and Papa G...
And, of course, the nice photos of the celebrant...
So that's how we celebrated Christoff's 7th month birthday. =)

Kulilits Moments: Ian & Chris' Latest Conversation
Hello guys! Kamusta na? Long time no hear ano? Pero, nagkamali ako, with all the kabusy-han ko, 3-day brown out, typhoon and all that, hindi pa rin ako nakapagsulat.
Anyway, I just want to share to you yung latest conversation ng mga Kulilits. Hahaha!
Chris: Ian, can I borrow the "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" book please po?
Ian: Say Kuya first!
Chris: Kuya Ian, can I borrow the "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" book please po?
Ian: Put on your clothes first!
Hehehe.
Speaking of Ian's pagiging kuya. May pahabol kuwento pa pala ako...
Si Christoff kasi, medyo demanding na infant. As in kapag may ginusto siya, dapat masunod.
So eto na. Last night, while Christoff is crying out so loud...
Me: Christoff, why are you crying? Mommy is just here. Don't cry like that please. That's not good.
but Christoff did not stop crying...
Ian (with a bossy tone): Christoff, don't cry like a BRAT!
O di ba? San ka pa? Hahaha! Til' next Kulilits moments...

A Fully Booked Father's Day
Last Father's day is a very hectic day for me. Ang daming activities that day eh. Early in the morning, I went to Wilcon in Alabang to buy some tiles for our bathroom. As in kabubukas pa lang nila andun na ako. Need ko kasi makabalik ng house by 11am eh.
Then, since maaga aga ako nakabalik ng house, I hurriedly went to SM Southmall to buy our Father's Day gift for Papa G. Kay Papa G lang dahil na-advance na namin gift namin kay Lolo Em.
When I arrived home, we went na to Mandarin Palace in BF Paranaque to celebrate Father's day. We have a 12:30pm reservation kasi doon. Actually, a week before pa kami nagpareserve. Good thing na nagpareserve kami kaagad kasi ang dami nang tao na nakapila when we arrived there.
Mandarin Palace serves authentic Chinese cuisine. Halata naman sa aura ng restaurant eh.
Here are what we ordered:
Spinach with Seafood soup...
Ang funny ng color ano? Hindi appetizing tignan. Well, masarap sana siya except ang dali niyang lumamig.
Large Salted Fish Fried Rice...
Their fried rice is good. It's not that salty. Tamang tama lang yung blend ng flavors.
1 Whole Peking Duck (Two Way)...
Their pecking duck is on promo kaya mura lang siya. It's actually two way, I forgot lang to take a photo of the duck skin in a wrap. Haha. Their duck is good also except for the the duck skin. Hindi masyadong crunchy eh unlike the other wraps that I tasted.
Medium Seafood Pancit Canton...
As always, Chinese style pancit canton never fails me. Hindi kasi siya dry and I love the taste of the noodles plus sinamahan pa ng fresh seafood. Yummers!
Medium Mixed Vegetables and Mushrooms (Lohanchay)...
This one is good also. Anything with mushrooms and broccoli is yummy for me. =)
Medium Camaron...
For their camaron, nothing special.
Steamed Lapu Lapu (around 600g)
This one is really really good! Sarap to the fish bones talaga! The lapu lapu is fresh. Wala kang malalasahang lansa.
Aside from the food above, we also ordered siomai (P88.00 per order) and buchi (P60.00 per order). Plus our drinks which are mostly bottomless iced tea which is only P65.00 and Coke in can (P45.00).
Overall, the food is great! Pero if you check the prices in their menu, mura lang naman talaga ang food nila. By the way, they also have rice toppings available.
Now, time for the obligatory family pictures. Hehe.
Here is a picture of my parents and my in-laws...
Our family picture that day (incomplete)...
After lunch, we went to Bicutan to check out the items that were pulled out from Dusit Hotel. Then we went to McDonald's Bambang for the 7th birthday of Illa, my cousin's daughter and our inaanak.
One of the Kulilits, Chris, is part of the 7 roses. Hehehe.
Check their photobooth picture...
I love the last picture!!!
So here is Chris dancing with Illa...
Ian got to dance with Illa too. I requested my cousin kung pwede isayaw rin niya yung celebrant. Kawawa naman kasi yung itsura niya after ng dance ni Chris kasi he was expecting to dance also. Ganun ata kasi talaga ang twins eh, dapat parati pareho or nagtatake turns. I dunno... Yung kasi ang experience ko with the Kulilits eh.
Another picture of the Kulilits with the celebrant and participants of the 7 roses...
So that's our Father's Day! Hindi naman nakakapagod ano? How about you, how did you celebrate it?

I Survived!!!
Whew!
Have you noticed that I haven't blogged that much nowadays? Apart to my usual reasons (home renovation, the boys, the house, etc.), our househelp, Je Ann, had her vacation for 3 weeks. Just imagine me, with 2 toddlers and an infant alone in the house managing our home, buying materials and overseeing the renovation of our new home. I'm happy to say that I survived it! Talagang pineg ko si Darna for the past 3 weeks. Haha!
I'm really happy that Je Ann came back already this afternoon.
At an early age, they can follow instructions and they can also take care of their baby brother. Nakakabilib talaga. Hindi nila pinasakit ang ulo ko.
Hopefully, I can blog a lot na. Hopefully...
