Artsy Craftsy Kulilits

One nice thing attending our Church, Victory Christian Fellowship (VCF), is that they have a Kids' Church were the Kulilits can attend. At the Kids' Church, they interact with kids their age, they have Bible lessons, they sing praise and worship songs, and they do some arts and crafts.

I just want to share you some of the works of the Kulilits at VCF Kids' Church...

Nice right?

I'll be posting more soon...

Metro Department Store Market! Market! Loots

This will be a quick blog post because I'm very excited to share you my good finds at Metro Department Store...

Last Saturday, we checked-in at Seda Hotel BGC because hubby was invited to attend a conference at The Mind Museum. I and the kids went there ahead of hubby since he still needs to work for a living. Hehe!

While the twins were having their afternoon nap, Christoff and I sneaked out of our hotel room and went to Market! Market! Actually, my initial objective was only to look for a good pair of pants for the twins since they already outgrew all of their pants. But due to being a normal human and being weak sometimes, I ended up buying other stuff. Hehe!

Anyway, here are my good steal that day:

Dickies Briefs for hubby (from P599.75 to P300.00)...

Baby Jordan Jeans for the Kulilits (from P799.75 to P400.00)...

Baby Jordan Jeans for the Kulilits (from P799.75 to P400.00)...

Christian Ferre skirt pants (from P799.00 to P250.00)

Laviola Blouse (from P1,099.75 to P550.00)...

S&H Shoes (from P2,299.75 to P1,000.00)...

What can you say about my shopping loots? All of them were on sale!!! Knowing me, I rarely shop but I make sure that I'm spending wisely. =)

Kulilits Moments: Who's The Boss?

Hubby and I never spoil the Kulilits. Only their granpas and grandmas do which I think the Kulilits know. Like this for example:

After playing with Lola Es...

Chris: I want Chuckie.
Me: You can have your Chuckie after dinner.
Chris (Looking at Lola Es): Chuckie!
Me: Who's The Boss?
Chris (Smiling mischievously): Lola Es!

See? The Kulilits know how to exploit an opportunity!

Lola Es' Surprises for the Kulilits

Lola Es loves to give the Kulilits surprises - from the simplest things to lavish ones. Whenever she sees something that she thinks the Kulilits would like or love, she will definitely buy it. She loves to see the joy in her Kambalistik apo's (twin grandchildren) faces every time she gives them gifts. Those "excited" faces plus sweet "thank you's" that makes her heart jump with joy.

Like the other week, she sent a pack of Marie biscuits to the Kulilits through hubby...

When hubby gave the pack of biscuits to the Kulilits, I asked them to call their Lola and thank her personally. They both thank their Lola by saying: "Thank you for the biscuits Lola Es! I love you!" Aren't they the sweetest?

Another batch of surprises for the Kulilits were given by Lola Es this afternoon when she visited us. She gave the Kulilits Spiderman toothbrushes which they really loved. Have I mentioned to you that Spiderman is their favorite superhero? By the way, they immediately opened their new toothbrushes after I took this photo...

Chris & Ian with their new toothbrushes

Lola Es also gave them new blankets. Superman for Chris and Batman for Ian. Good thing that the Kulilits did not fight over the Spider blanket. Hehe!

To Lola Es...

Thank you very much for visiting the boys! Thank you for spending hours playing with them. Thank you also for the goodies that you gave them. We really appreciate it, specially the boys. We love you!

Mama G's Saturday Treats =)

Hello there! I'm still alive! =) I rarely blog nowadays because I'm very busy taking care of my kiddos specially the little one (Christoff). I exclusively breastfeed and I do direct feeding which takes around 15 to 30 mins of my time every two to three hours. Well, that's motherhood and I'm really enjoying it! =)

Anyway, I have a lot of stories to tell you and I just need to find time to blog about it. So, please bear with me. To start of, here is the first one...

Last Saturday morning, Mama G picked me up and we went to BF Paranaque to do a little food shopping. As always, I brought home a lot of stuff c/o Mama G.

Our first stop was at the fruit stand near the corner of Tropical Avenue and J. Elizalde Avenue. Mama G bought a lot of fruits there and organic native eggs.

Mama G bought us bananas and mangoes...

Bananas and mangoes are the Kulilits' favorite fruits. They also love to make fruit shakes out of it.

Mama G also bought us a 30pcs-tray of organic native eggs...

Organic native eggs stored in egg organizer

We were also suppose to buy Calasiao puto't kutsinta. Unfortunately, only the puto variant is availabale so we didn't buy anymore. =(

Our next stop was at Pinky's Goodies located in El Grande Avenue. Mama G bought a lot of sweets there and below were my take home goodies:

Their famous Butterscotch Bars which my son, Ian, really loves...

Cranberry & Walnut Biscotti...

Chocolate with Almond Biscotti...

and Lotus Biscoff European Cookie Spread...

As what my mom said... "Ang dami na namang blessing ng anak ko ngayon!" (My daughter has a lot of blessings today!). Well, setting aside the material things that I'm receiving from my parents, the real blessings that I have are my ever loving, supportive and understanding parents. For without them, I'll never be what I am now. So mommy, when will be our next shopping??? Joke!

To my mom...

Thank you mommy for your thoughtfulness. Thank you for always loving me, my husband and my kids. I'm very grateful to have a mom like you, the original superwoman! I love you very very very much! Mwah!!!

Kulilits Moments: Sali to Sally

During our homeschool this morning, MJ (Kulilits' playmate) looked into our window and asked if he could join us...

MJ: Papasok! (Please let me in!)
Ian and Chris (pointing their fingers to MJ): Mommy, look! MJ!
Me: We can't let him in yet because we are still studying.
MJ (persistent): Sali! Sali ako! (I want to join you!)
Ian (went to the window with his furrowed eyebrows): No, Sally!
MJ (still persistent): Sali! Sali! (I want to join you!)
Chris (went to the window): There is no Sally here. Only Ate Je Ann!
Me (laughing out loud): That's not what he meant. It is "sali" not "Sally". Sali is the Tagalog word for join. MJ wants to join us.

Waaaaahhh!!! Je Ann and I really laughed out loud. The Kulilits thought that MJ was referring to Sally, the house help of my mom. Well, that only means that I need to teach the Kulilits more Tagalog. =)

Christoff's 2nd Month @ Marciano's

Christoff's 2nd month birthday fell on a Sunday. Our schedule was jam-packed then. It was almost 9:00pm when we finished all the things that we have to do that day. In short, we nearly didn't have a chance to celebrate Christoff's 2nd month birthday. =(

Since it's a must that we celebrate my youngest son's monthly birthday and I'm already too tired and lazy to cook, we went to SM Southmall Food Street to check for some restaurants that were still open. There we found Marciano's...
